  1. The Galleria is worth a visit as it is nice. However all in all, it is a pretty boring and terrible city to visit as a tourist. I'm sorry.
  2. I was a member of the Liberal Democrats, but no longer. May re-join at some point soon. I did look at joining CLEAR recently, which I may still do. For those who don't know, CLEAR is a party pushing for drug law reform.
  3. And we must thank Lowe for SMS.
  4. Some lovely build up play. Adkins really has the team playing well. C or H.
  5. He certainly won't be heading the ball for a while if his skull has fracture/s. Hope he gets well soon.
  6. If it is neurological damage, at least he is young(though he is near the age where the brain stops developing)... stands him in better stead for possible recovery. I just hope he is okay.
  7. That's great news if he stable now. Let's just hope there's no long term neurological damage.
  8. Why? Serious question, I know nothing about him except his bust up with Di Canio the other night.
  9. Apparently, according to Jordan Sibley's twitter anyways, the meal is over so I await the report!
  10. In fairness, they do own the land.
  11. Great, take one sentence of my post totally out of context. It actually is a lot like it. Both are illegal settlements and the choices of what to do with them have similar consequences.
  12. Yes... ask about the flag!
  13. I think I do agree with your conclusions. They can't just be allowed to build on green belt land. Fair enough on the other land which isn't green belt and fair enough if you get planning permission elsewhere, but they don't have that.
  14. Yep... and him! Bad transfer window my arse!
  15. In fairness... there was de Ridder and Cork as well as this new guy.
  16. Also, ask him where he wants us to be in 5 years time!
  17. Cortese has a dinner which a bunch of random season ticket holders every few months. I think it is his way of keeping an ear to the thoughts of the fans. It's a nice touch actually.
  18. Ethnic cleansing it certainly is not. To be honest, I don't know enough about the personal circumstances to cast comment on whether they are a nuisance or not. However, from what I understand they do own the land legally, but have no planning permission. I wonder how the local infrastructure is coping with them? I guess it's sort of like the shanty towns of Rio de Janeiro and what not. You can either leave them there, even if the construction is illegal and accept the necessity that the people living there have to live somewhere. To do this you allow integration into amenities and just accept it as a new settlement. Or you can bulldoze it all and move everyone on, but then what? It's a tricky one, the law can't start making exceptions though.
  19. If he's free...
  20. Basically everyone who isn't a racist.
  21. I hate this comment, many have made it in relation to this thinking it dismisses it. What they want is structural tax changes, not a one off gesture they can make.
  22. Oh right, though I still want to see a world without nuclear weapons. And there are other ways to be at the 'top' table than military. Just look at Germany. Either way, I don't honestly care if other countries don't do. We should do it moral reasons, as well as economic reasons. Oil will run out and we want to be at the forefront of this all. The jobs it will create will also be helpful.
  23. I'm slightly confused as to what you are getting at.
  24. As a world collective, there needs to be a push. Oil is going to run and it ****s up the world as well in many ways. As has already been said, there is plenty of energy around if we just made the moves and built the infrastructure.
  25. Exactly. Capitalism really gets in the way here. I have no doubt that renewables will come in and replace it all when the oil runs out, but that won't do due to the damage fossil fuels do to the planet and the growing need for energy. The market is bloody useless on this, what is needed is government intervention to steer us to 100% renewable.
