  1. "This really should be the 4-0 or 5-0 thrashing we have all been eagerly awaiting. I don't think there will be an easier game this season than this, at home to the 17th placed team who have only won once away from home all season and only managed one draw as well, while we are on fire, with a 9 game unbeaten streak. We finally scored 3 on Wednesday and I really reckon this should be the match we target to get 4 plus. Wouldn't be surprised with 6 even." Well, let's hope we can upset this a bit...
  2. Adkins doesn't seem to be a favourite with the Stoke City faithful: http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Potters&action=display&thread=205067
  3. Yeah I did it over the phone and they still had all my previous transactions.
  4. Yeah I only have 2 our of my 7 away games showing.
  5. I was thinking maybe one of the other nine players in our squad that have scored in the league this season?
  6. Besides the penalty yesterday he wasn't a threat.
  7. Thought we were pretty rubbish to be honest, but without Berbatov Fulham will struggle in any game. Yoshida and Ramirez were poor for me today. The former just hoofed the ball anywhere and the latter failed to give Shaw much defensive protection, whilst taking too long in possession. Lambert's threat was nullified due to the towering dominance of Hangeland, so it wouldn't surprise me to see RL dropped for the Stoke match. Great pen though. Overall a good point away from home with a strong and noisy away crowd.
  8. Yeah and if Carrie is 'missing presumed dead' it seems a bit odd that no one noticed her car was missing from the car park.
  9. 1. CB 2. LB 3. Winger 4. GK
  10. Suggesting that he's still obvious to Shaw's existence?
  11. Good point that. He's back on to celebrate
  12. Just crap. Mayuka looks like a waste of money and, although he did OK, I see no reason why De Ridder gets on in front of Rodriguez. We have a worrying inability to shoot, even without Lallana today. Won nothing in the air all game and as a result Lambert was completely ineffective. Rubbish basically.
  13. I'm giving up with Homeland with rumours of it lasting for up to 7 seasons. The first season was brilliant, great TV, the second season has been an insult to my intelligence. The plot holes have become too ridiculous for me to bother when it next drags on.
  14. I personally think he's already peaked. Been told he can leave a club that got spanked at home by Villa yesterday. If we were top half of the Champ then yeah, but that's not where we want to be.
  15. Adkins got a nice scouting visit to Old Trafford in earlier.
  16. "Those Season Ticket Holders located in Blocks 41 and 42 of the Northam Stand who are displaced from their usual seat will have an opportunity to purchase an alternative seat at the discounted price on Tuesday 18th December, before General Sale commences." Not exactly difficult to understand why they didn't sell you one then. Oh and if you've sat there for 12 years, maybe it's about time you learnt how to spell it.
  17. 1. I thought it was pretty clear in the written article on the OS? 2. How do you not know the stand name of where you have a season ticket?! 3. Use more full-stops.
  18. My favourite quote from the Reading forum: "Southampton were absolutely dire and we were far worse than them today."
  19. Really good performance, could have easily scored more. Thought we were very solid at the back and now up to 15th!
  20. Have played football for the last 12 years. Thanks for proving a great example of clueless supporters who don't understand that if you break the laws of the game you get punished, no matter how you did it.
  21. I completely agree. I think that way they know a 10 minute ban from the game is on its way. The mouthiest ones are usually losing anyway and so they would certainly refrain from doing so.
  22. If you read the Laws of the Game you'll find it doesn't distinguish between a "bad foul" and a "mistimed foul". Next you'll be spouting the moronic line of "he's not that kind of player, ref".
  23. £1,500 per Prem game, £5,000 per World Cup game. So nothing compared to the 22 players they ref every week.
  24. He hasn't been recalled
