  1. Very difficult to judge personnel when moving up from the Championship to the PL. Attacking wise we've done well, just been caught short at the back somewhat. January should see a CB and a LB brought in and from then on we will be a very solid unit.
  2. Right well I won't be predicting a heavy defeat on the fact that West Ham play direct.
  3. I said you were. Scoring for us is not a problem, home or away. What was bizarre about today's line-up?
  4. Why are you viewing West Ham likes it's Barcelona away?
  5. Not sure I agree with taking Lambert off, but Puncheon was spending too much time on the ball and not providing any cover for Yoshida. Both Chaplow and Guly did well when they came on.
  6. Looking at the injuries we had to deal with a draw is a decent result. Although the subs were a little surprising I thought Chappers and Guly both put in good shifts. Fonte seems to have grown as the season has moved on, whereas Hooiveld seems to have gone backwards. Like the look of Gazza and he played some nice balls out. J-Rod is wasteful with chances and I just don't think he's ready for the Prem yet.
  7. Fulham will improve (you would think) second half and we might rue those missed chances. Need to be more confident at the back, but doing very well considering the injuries.
  8. Estimate on the number of people who would spend £3 on a programme purely because the person selling is more attractive: 1% Estimate on the number of people who won't buy one on the principle of how the previous sellers were treated: >1% Expect sales to go down.
  9. Yeah exactly. I don't even see why they'd have to be mobile, you walk past them at every turnstile anyway.
  10. They appear to have been replaced by women dressed as airline hostesses. Not exactly what I look for when you go to football.
  11. Never mind
  12. We didn't used to do it with 1 day of rest though. Even if it was Wednesday Nigel would probably still have a second string team out.
  13. Now that it's on the Tuesday I reckon it will be 11 changes from the team that plays Spurs. Reckon Leeds will edge it, maybe in ET.
  14. 3,000 tickets?!
  15. Our home support is in no way comparable to Arsenal or Everton.
  16. More like West Ham "don't know how to tackle" United.
  17. Cheers. Find it strange they play the same teams just a few days apart and at the opposite side's ground.
  18. Why do they play a team away from home and then at home again a few days later? Or am I getting the development squads and U21s mixed up?
  19. Can't be bothered with my views on the rest of the game, but thought JWP put in a brilliant performance and really stood out for us.
  20. Yeah, he went Spurs away last season when they played up there.
  21. Tough one, I'd say play the kids until we reached the QFs as that's when it hots up. But looking at the Everton team they beat the other night we're going to need some bulk and experience to get past them at Elland Road.
  22. Possibly, but also Sunderland/Middlesbrough drawn.
  23. The thought of him being wrong is incomprehensible, so don't even question it.
