I laughed very hard at that! Even if he was on a free and agreed to sell beer at half-time, I still wouldn't want him.

Nooooooooooo! I can't make that game -
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13688538.stm Since when did he get a Jermaine Defoe haircut, and an ear piercing? Oh very dear. "A winter break will have to come in sometime" No, it won't. "We look tired at summer tournaments" Well, Theo, if there's a break in the winter you'll be playing catch-up for the rest of the season, otherwise it will run over. Then you and the boys will be more 'fatigued' come June.
-
Now has his twitter picture as him at St. Mary's. Make of that what you will
-
Can't see why we wouldn't retain him, he'll be out in a month at most. Club knows what happened and have dealt with it themselves.
-
Ahh OK, so you'd rather pay £931 than £515 as long as they tell you with a months notice in writing. Gotcha
-
You say fairly, and I agree that seniors (over 65 for United...) should be entitled to some sort of discount, but in United's case somebody who is 64 can be paying £551 MORE than somebody perhaps even a couple of months older. I don't entirely grasp how that is fair. I don't see how the distance is relevant either, I also know a lad who lives in Winchester and has a United season ticket. Manchester United are a club FAR bigger than Southampton will ever be, suggesting the "fairness" of ticket prices results in no long-distance ST holders at Saints is just plain ridiculous.
-
And in terms of Norwich, their prices aren't exactly spectacular compared to ours, for example a renewal in their family stand costs £423. They do, however, announce season ticket prices in NOVEMBER and have them on sale way before March. They also offer fans the chance to pay for it over 12 months, interest free. I think the latter has a massive impact of season ticket sales, they had sold 20,000 by March 5th this year, before they even knew they would be promoted. Quite incredible really.
-
Arsenal season tickets start at £925, matchday tickets cost up to £94. They sell out every match and have 40,000 on a waiting list for season tickets. You say United know how to fill the ground as if the prices you stated were to double they wouldn't sell out.
-
I don't understand this, surely you go to see Southampton play football, not to see them play football from a certain angle only? I understand wanting to sit around your friends, but can't you find a decent seating arrangement elsewhere in the ground? Keeping blocks 1-3 closed has been a bit of a mistake, but I know quite a few who moved. I put it's closure down to the increasing atmosphere from the Kingsland North.
-
And BenTheLegend/Dannysfc?
-
Does he not want to move position in the ground?
-
I have no doubt that people do it already and have done for some time. I know a guy who has has a child season ticket at West Ham for over 20 years.
-
Sorry for writing it in hieroglyphics. It was merely a suggestion as to how you could afford the season ticket. Sit in the Chapel, is another. Get a low-skilled job, is my final offering. HTH
-
You can quite easily renew the ticket and change the name/DOB on it. Say it was your brother's ticket and he's 65.
-
Joe Hart didn't have a bad game at all. First goal he (and probably everybody else) expected Rio or the attacker to head the ball any which way. Second goal was 100% Milner's fault. He is supposed to stand in the wall to block off an area of the goal from the taker, and make it easier to save for the 'keeper. You do NOT move 4 foot to the left before it's kicked so that the 'keeper is caught short. Hart will be England's number 1 for many years to come, and rightly so. Milner is not good enough for the shirt.
-
Said on ITV there was a problem with the scanning turnstiles at Wembley today, which contributed to some of the 10,000 empty seats before half-time.
-
Just be thankful you aren't a new season ticket holder at Leeds. In the side stands it's Adult-priced tickets only - £750.
-
Damn the truth
-
Ricketts closer to signing than we thought then?
Nexstar replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
How can you be getting Michael, Rohan and Roman Ricketts all mixed up?! -
Do you support Rangers?
-
He is a very good. 750k is a bargain They don't rate Marvin Bartley
-
Gave the ticket office a quick ring, they said Itchen North blocks 1-3 will not be re-opened for season tickets.
-
Thing is Norwich sell 19,000 season tickets every year, and that's not down to the £66 difference, so the club has to make it back somewhere I guess.
-
Season tickets are released every year, be it between March and July, you would have to be pretty stupid to completely forget about them until the club announces it. And even if you did i'm sure in the 5 weeks that people have, they could raise the funds for the installment plan.
