A win, not fussed about the scoreline, Saturday will be a party whatever happens. Or maybe lose 8-0 just for lols, then Huddersfield will win by the odd goal having rested players for the play-offs
-
West Ham, skates, Palace, Wolves, Ipswich, Brighton
-
Walsall away for me, because after that we looked strong in most games, played as a unit and won 12 of the next 14 games

jordansibley Jordan Sibley Great night on the way home from Plymouth. Hold tight for some big news tomorrow. #saintsfc No?

You're all welcome

Get CMS in, forget about Nugent - He's useless!

Amazing. We won it for Markus.

Fingers crossed we're not still "clutching at straws" for second place, when it's still in our hands... -
Think Anthony Pulis is about ready to get on the bus and have a few first team starts.
-
"quite frankly, i wouldn't back our lot to beat little hampton let alone southampton. they were awful against exeter yesterday. " More of the same please, Plymouth!
-
Can think of the odd occasion (well, quite a few...) where the opposing team has won in the last minute and had a few fans run on the pitch. Can't remember any teams staying up or going up at SMS though.
-
Think they're available in the home end on the day, don't know how plymouthy you have to be to pass the home test though
-
Like I posted yesterday, I reckon Saints are waiting to see if they can grab any more tickets off Walsall before announcing it's a sell-out.
-
Really can't see them playing the waiting game - we're far too good at the back and we can always go up Saturday if necessary. Monday is all or nothing for them.
-
"You could see today that the players are absolutely knackered and I can't blame them to be honest. Good effort lads, the squad is just to small to allow players to have rest periods." That's from the Plymouth forum. I guess in terms of rests for us I'd go Seaborne in for Jaidi, Butterfield to start instead of Richardson and perhaps Stephens for Chaplow? We do have a fair bit of strength-in-depth, so hopefully that will win out on the day. Going to be very interesting to see how Adkins plays it, as Plymouth will be all-out attack - no question. Do we try and hold out and catch them on the counter (with the likes of Connolly and Lallana ripping them) or do we also go all-out attack and see where we are at half-time? Personally i'd try and hold tight to wear them down and pound them second half.
-
Think they may still be waiting to see how many Walsall shift before confirming it's sold-out.

Fantastic day out, result was great and ended up celebrating 7 times! (3 goals, penalty save, 2 Brighton goals and 1 phantom Brighton goal!) Our fans were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, must have been so loud to the Brentford lot who didn't muster a single song for 90 minutes. Would like to know how we came across on the radio and if anyone has any videos they'd like to share?

Never sat in Chapel or hospitality
-
Just like they managed to contain those pesky Newcastle fans last season...
-
In the last weeks of the season you'll probably be able to count about 15-20 pitch invasions up and down the country, none of which will be punished with a points penalty. Would be interested to know the last time such a penalty was enforced upon a side for the same offence. Hopefully the first time we will have been promoted in 33 years, people will not stay off the pitch.
-
... People died, what's wrong with you?
-
Yep, the two mentioned by Appy. Other notables for me were Hammond's goal v Posh (away), Chaplow v United and knowing the trip to Oldham on a tuesday was actually worthwhile...

Brighton Doing Us A Favour On Saturday Beating Huddersfield...!?!
Nexstar replied to dannysfc's topic in The Saints
I am getting increasingly worried about Brighton rolling over for Huddersfield and us getting a draw at Brentford. Would leave us need to win both of our final games.
