oohhh, a quick google reveal 1.7 is out, woot!

ixtreme 1.6 is now detectable, i flashed to a version i *thought* was a beta of 1.7 and it wasnt, and my xbox now acts as a dvd player only. Yeah, I know I could roll back to a proper version of 1.6, but I cant be arsed, so im just gonna wait for 1.7

I agree tho, keep it fresh by rotating a few people, but a lot of people who appear to be articulate and opinionated on here may not be able to do the same in front of a microphone, that's why it's important that Stevegrant chooses people he actually knows.

Yeah, sorry about that. That was Rob, who when sound checking was fine but when recording decided to keep turning his face away from the mic. Had I had longer I would have up'd the volume on his speaking parts, but it took me 3 hours to edit as it was, and it had to go "live" this morning at the latest

So is it now working for those that had experienced the bug, or just those that waited anyway without turning on the console and getting the bug? (got thats a **** sentence)

Arizona has told be some (less amusing but at least genuine) tales of exchanges, including pilots on approach to UK airports asking ATC for footy results, and colleagues of his flying to (i think) genoa, ordering pizza whilst on approach so it was ready to collect when they had finished work

Have used plusnet in the past and would recommend them. As Bexy says, port and traffic shaping issues are a problem, but only if you get up to the more "colourful" things that I do whilst online...

Yup, any client could change their dns settings to avoid the using the host as its dns server. Your best bet is probably some piece of software that can manage that, I'm sure one of the other users on here who deals with server administration will be able to suggest the best software.

Watched this back in 2008 when a mate in the states recommended it, great viewing. Worth watching the whole series again if you get a chance, was on FX middle of last year too.
