Danny Ings, it's a 'no' from me, thanks.

And ultimately this is the whole problem with VAR. VAR is the technology, it allows you to see incidents in different angles, slow it down, analyse what has happened - but it doesn't make decisions. Decisions are made by humans and unfortunately they err and don't always see things the way another human has seen them. One of you thinks its a yellow, the other doesn't, fwiw when I watched it yesterday I couldn't make up my mind what it was after seeing tons of replays. So all of these things are subjective, they are still open to interpretation and, to some extent based on opinion. Some decisions are obviously more clear cut than others, but still we (appear) to get them wrong. The Cedric penalty, personally I just don't see a penalty in there even though it does appear to hit his upper arm. Initially the ref waves it away almost routinely, however he then gets told to review it with VAR and changes him mind. Personally I think he is influenced by the fact that 5 qualified referees have asked him to review it and he thinks that they believe he has his original call wrong. Technology and humans don't always mix well!

Would love him to stay as well - but I do think this one is done. There may not be that much in print but it was certainly mentioned more than a few times by BBC commentators during the WC. So I think it's just a case of it all being sorted, and reported on, once he returns from Russia.

To keep it brief Fred I think that we are probably two similar sized clubs with about the same potential, if anything I think we edge it. Yes Wolves have a rich history in yesteryear, but I doubt many players would think that counts for very much right now. Most players would probably look over the course of the last 5 years, and if you do that - you see us having 3 very good years and 2 not so good years. Yes we scraped by last year - but we now have a chance to kick on. It's very easy to kick the club right now - god knows you only have to look on this forum - we've turned it into an art form. But, we go again, it might just be me, but whenever we start a new season I am optimistic that we can do well. Do I fear Wolves (even though they beat us last season), no I don't, but neither do I fear Man U, City, Scousers, I certainly don't see us 'behind' Wolves. In my lifetime we are a mid - lower premiere league side - so perhaps its easier to get a realistic picture of the footballing hierarchy and where we can expect to end up.

No chance of ever catching them then, certainties for relegation. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Ahh right, are we a long way behind? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Agree, I feel for Morgan because it all seems to have gone totally pear shaped since he left us, but you can't blame him for leaving given what was on offer, and at the same time I'd not have him back. For me he's sort of become the Steve Williams of the 21st century, shame really he was great for us.

It's Scottish Football. As an aside - my in-laws are Scottish, from Aberdeen, they support Man Utd...!

Ahh you'd noticed as well, he's obviously graduated from crayons. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

To be fair the whole polish side look like they don't know what they're doing. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Tend to agree. We were good up top today, but even against Panama we had some pretty dodgy moments at the back. Also, when we made changes we looked significantly weaker. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I would say that it was awful defending, but it wasn't because we just didn't defend at all. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Both have offered nothing. If Sterling can't boost his confidence against this level of opposition, it's time for a change. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I'm assuming that we are carrying Sterling through this game and then we're going to retire him for the rest of the tournament. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

I understand that you have an irrational hatred of the man but all you've done is written two lines of pure rubbish. Other than his age, the rest is supposition and juvenile personal jibes. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Yeah gotta keep the perspective, it's Panama. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

Yep, they look pretty agricultural, wouldn't relax just yet, you know England can still cock it up from here. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
