If Man City had to win by 5 goals today to win the league they would have done, no question. They weren’t bothered, played in Europe and again next week. We made it a nice stroll for them, and contributed virtually nothing to one of the most boring games ever seen. Possession football? I’ll pass on that…😉

As an advert for possession football, it’s a fail. What an absolute borefest. One team tippy happy around their own half, other team tippy tappy around the opposition half trying to craft the ‘perfect’ goal.

Nah Wolves will blow their chances by doing the double over us. I think it’s crap if saints are crap, which we are.. I’d defy anybody to call Brentford v Wolves dull as ditchwater, Man City V Fulham also decent ( if Traore could shoot, Fulham could have comfortably won there). Note to Russ Martin - watch how Fulham attack from their own area, quick, players up the pitch, incisive passes created loads v possibly Europe’s best side. It’s the way forward literally, not crab football.

After Monday night’s game RM was extolling the virtues of Ross Stewart and Joe Aribo, so I’d assume they’ll both be starting. My best guess (who can predict the tombola line up after all?) is: Ramsdale Sugawara ABK Harwood-Bellis Walker-Peters Downes Aribo Dibling Lallana Fernandes Stewart I think if Stephens wasn’t suspended he’d have gone 5 at the back, so unless out of the blue Bella-Kotchap comes in, I can’t see Wood or Edward’s starting instead. You just never know with our Russ though, there is always one curve ball in there…

If we bought 4 quality players rather than 8 squad players it would help. All we did was bloat out the squad with championship standard players. Ramsdale was quality and it clearly shows. Nobody else we bought was proven prem quality. Also shows. Budget team, budget manager. Absolutely no hope of staying up. Leicester and wolves will both beat us.
