  1. Just what Saints are rubbish at…being horrible and shithouse! We need to get nasty to help us stay up…
  2. Thank you - as Saint Garrett pointed out Edozie won’t be playing cdm! Me concentrating on spacing it out rather than the order they’re in 🤦‍♂️
  3. Keep it tight at the back, have a midfield, play as a team… McCarthy KWP. C Carr. B Kotchup. Peraud Lavia S Armstrong. JWP. Edozie. Djeneppo/Ely Adams About the best we’ve got. Which is not a lot sadly…..
  4. Should have saved that Bazuna 🙄☹️
  5. We outplayed France second half. Looked very good, had the chances, didn’t take the big one.. they are world champsfor a reason, they’re bloody good. I disgrace, they’ll go on and win it, as could we have done if we had won tonight.
  6. Saints to win 2-0.
  7. I think we will beat Bournemouth and lose the other two games. No chance against Arsenal the way they are playing, West Ham will nick a 1-0 win against us… Realistically I’d take 4 points from the games.
  8. Broja scores for Chelsea…
  9. I hope we play as 4-5-1. City like to play through the lines, if we play open and take them on we will get blown away. with an optimistic head on I’ll say we defend like warriors and repeat last seasons 0-0. Realistic head - JWP is way out of form, they have Haaland this year, we are weak in midfield and have no threat up front 6-0.
  10. Great effort Saints - fantastic win 🥇
  11. Who? Never hear of him. If he is such a great player why can’t he get into the worst united team in years? Who has seen him play and where as people reckon he’d be great for £14 million 😮 who are the united reserve team watchers on Saints web?
  12. Saints to win 2-1.
  13. His decision making is crap. Wankest og I’ve ever seen this week. Wank back pass v Watford. Sent off at home to Spurs last season due to crap thinking. If he’s good enough for us, I’d hate to think what crap is. He’s overrated. Keeps making schoolboy errors. Yet excused because he’s “one for the future”. I call bullshit.
  14. I expected us to lose, no surprise there. Spurs are a very decent side, will I’m sure be top four again. However the concern for me was Spurs didn’t need to play well to beat us. They didn’t get out of third gear, got to 4 up and eased off (thankfully). We went 2-1 down, came out at half time and instantly conceded again (offside) thankfully. Heads went down at 3-1 and sat there I was convinced 6 or 7 were going past us. Luckily Spurs were done with us, but my word we were so open at the back. Kane was fortunately crap and Son not at his best. Could have been so much worse….
  15. We. Can’t. Defend. At. All. ☹️
  16. 1 Liverpool 2 City 3 Spuds 4 Arse 5 Chelsea … 16 Forest 17 Saints 18 Brentford 19 Fulham 20 Bournemouth We stay up by 3 points. Struggle to score goals all season, defence is tighter though… Ralph sacked before Christmas. Unknown foreign manager comes in - scrapes enough points together to save us… I hope I’m wrong, but our starting side isn’t much different to last season. Bazuna and Aribo probably… Too much reliance on untried and untested sees us struggle all season, Ralph chops and changes the line up without much success and loses his job.
  17. How about a cheeky bid for Kelechi Iheanacho from Leicester? They need to shift players, he’s experienced, quick, decent and only 2 years on his contract. And he’s 25 so not old as that seems to be so important now…
  18. Which in fairness to AA is not his fault! We knew what we were buying last year - a forward who likes a quick through ball to run onto, outpace defence and score. Our turgid slow play doesn’t give that option to him. Surely you play a system to suit your players strengths, not their weaknesses…. Or not as the case may be…
  19. Could go one of two ways… Saints, brilliant, sit top of the league on the crest of a wave… Or… Like the Titanic, Saints are sinking beneath the waves to the Championship…
  20. Time will tell if the new spine of our side is any good or not. None of them have played in the premier league before, all are very young and inexperienced. Could be fantastic signings, may be not. No one knows! For sure though, they need to be good enough to be starting our first game, because we need first team starters not ones for the future…. If next season starts with any of Bednarek, Redmond, McCarthy, Moi, Long, Lyanco, Stephens in the starting 11 we have failed this summer with recruitment! 🤞we have chosen wisely
  21. Agree - we definitely need to spend money on midfield and forward options, back up right back/centre back when we have one is a waste of scarce cash I’d say…
  22. I also don’t think our plodding slow build ups help his game either. He needs a quick through ball to run onto, he gets lethargic build up play sideways, sideways, backwards, sideways which enables teams to reset and get everyone behind the ball leaving no space to run into. Ralph’s doing I’m sure (obsessed with not losing the ball - but we do sod all with it either at anything other than snail pace). Ralph’s set in stone ‘strategy’ is I’m sure why our forwards have scored so few goals, service is strangled by slow build up play. It’s not as though we concede less goals playing cautiously either 🙄
  23. Agreed. Wembley cup semi final, live on tv, biggest stage possible, and the useless Lemina strolled around in a way that I don’t think could have said “I don’t give a f*ck” more clearly. Useless oxygen thief whose ego was massively greater than his ability shown with Saints…😡
  24. Angus Gunn and Paulo Gazzaniga would suggest otherwise…. We really should just spend the cash and bring in an experienced No1 keeper and not another young lad. Suicidal decision making if we go down the ‘for the future root’ when the keeper is a critical position. I’m fully expecting Alex McCarthy in goal for the first game next season, and preparing to be underwhelmed by our summer business. I hope I’m wrong 🤞🤞
