  1. Has Harry Kane forgotten how to run? It’s cringeworthy watching him plod about. Get him off and get someone on who at least puts the effort in. But Southgate won’t do that will he? could do with Bamford up front to give us a focal point. Shame he didn’t make the squad 😬
  2. I agree, but hope we are both wrong. Surely we aren’t playing for penalties…….😮😬 My god football fans are retards - why boo the German national anthem 🤦‍♂️
  3. Sounds like they’ll be going the way of Fulham - lots of new players doesn’t always make for a good team….
  4. I’m with you. all the UK teams and Ireland I want to do well. Rather cheer them along than a bunch I’ve no affinity for. * gotta love the underdogs - which the Brits & Ireland are 👍 Don’t get the hatred and animosity 🤷‍♂️
  5. Finally, Kane off. Jogged about for 70 odd minutes doing absolutely nothing. Clearly trying to drive his price down. Che Adams lively, but thankfully can’t shoot. Good solid Saints player 🤣🤣
  6. Wtf Southgate?! You take one of our few good players off in a team full of mediocrity. Glad Grealish is on but ffs you take Foden off. Get Rice off. We don’t need 2 Cdm’s against Scotland 🤦‍♂️
  7. What, in 45 minutes, has Harry Kane done? Totally and utterly anonymous.
  8. Winners: France Runners Up: Belgium Scotland get knocked out at: group Wales get knocked out at: group England get knocked out at: quarter finals Dark Horse (Furthest a team gets excluding England, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Portugal): Denmark Top Goalscorer: Mbappe UEFA Best Player: De Bruyne UEFA Best Young Player: Foden
  9. Exactly this. Get the big men up, get the crosses into the box. Us? Fart about in midfield and pass it about in our own half and lose it. Baffling. Just go route one, we are losing for God's sake 😡
  10. I'd be annoyed if my Under 13's passed across our own box like Adams did. What on earth was he thinking, that really is an elementary mistake. Poor Ralph - how do you account for that in your planning for the game?!
  11. Completely agree. JWP kicked the ball before the whistle (no matter how marginal it was before the whistle) and Tells stuck his leg out looking for the pen. If that was given against us we'd be going crazy.....ref got it right.
  12. Saints played fantastically as a team tonight, brilliant performance. On the edge at the end, but that's what you'd expect against the reigning champions. Deserved victory thanks to a great finish, and lots of hard work and graft. Defence was immense - all if them put their bodies on the line making blocks - fab to see. Highlight is as always, the tw*t Carragher cheering on the losing side. (Sorry punditing for the losing side). Can't stand him, should have been sacked for his appalling behaviour, makes me so happy when Liverpool lose 😁. Great win Saints, proud of you 👍
  13. If I’m allowed to say it in this bbc nonsensed pc world, God help us. This rubbish is odious and pathetic. Stop wasting my licence fee on shit bbc. You are left wing, PC rubbish.
  14. If it helps you stay up for another season, who cares 🤔. If our young players aren’t up to it, it’s our best cheap option. They aren’t, and I suspect a midfielder on loan will be it for us. Just hope he’s a tall, powerfully built one, with PL experience, rather than an unknown nipper from abroad. We need an experienced player. No more ones for the future nonsense.
  15. I reckon we may have wanted him but stalled until we could gather some funds together. Got trumped by PSV they had the 💰💰waiting
  16. Terrible game. Great result. Unexpected 3 points at a very unhappy hunting ground for Saints. Now go and sign the 2/3 players that we clearly need - first team ready, not squad players please!
  17. It may be my imagination playing tricks , but I thought we had also played Bristol City in a friendly?
  18. Completely agree with your post. Our obsession with buying young players with an eye on a profit is short sighted. Gary Cahill would have been great in our defence last season with his experience being passed on to our inexperienced centre backs. But no. Too old. What a load of nonsense. This age of new signings rubbish will do for us eventually. Got to have experience to go with the inexperience.
  19. It is realistically our best chance at winning a trophy, so really good to see Ralph taking this seriously. All the nonsense spouted about the premier league being the most important thing.....🤦 We aren’t going to go down so may as well take the cups seriously 🤞🤞
  20. I think Saints to win 2-0. Palace are one of my choices to go down this season. Terrible form following lockdown, hopefully they will maintain it on Saturday, and we will continue with our excellent form 🤞🤞
  21. For pure atmosphere and hatred, although not club teams, Mexico Vs USA would take some beating...
  22. Harrison Reed is 5'11" !!
  23. Exactly this. It is why we are so poor at home - we leave them exposed to opposition breaks, and their positioning and reading of the game is not fantastic by a long way. virtually every game at home, one of the pair makes a big mistake. Not aided by us trying to be Man City (lite) and play out from the back, and putting ourselves under pressure by passing across the back and back to the keeper. Goals in the making for the opposition. They know if they press our defence, chances will come. Because our two CB’s are less than adequate.
  24. As soon as a team let us have time on the ball, our poor passing, movement and control shines through. Away from home, less time in possession, quicker getting the ball forward, much better side. We need to play away at home, even against the poor teams. Keep our shaky defence protected by playing deeper, attacking quicker.
  25. Very well deserved point Saints. Worked hard, but for a 10 minute sloppy spell, we were excellent 👍
