  1. Osvaldo fell out with his manager because he slagged him off on twitter, sounds right up cortese's street
  2. guly ahead of puncheon and puncheon not even on the bench?
  3. 22 pages in time to close now!
  4. easier to jump ships lots of appealing London footie clubs
  5. true how old is shrek these days?
  6. 18 million for a 27 year old seems a lot of money! But maybe that's the going rate now?
  7. we don't want another player coming here for the money only and then not being arsed to put the required effort in. Ramirez was a big mistake till he proves me wrong
  8. We are not a big enough club for this kind of player unfortunately , that said a player will go anywhere if the money's right as most said Ramirez wouldn't come. More money doesn't always equal a better player may be better of looking at cheaper alternatives
  9. Agreed personally I would cut our losses and accept any offer of 10 million (although finding somone to pay that would be difficult) and buy either another defender at lovrens level or a striker as like others have said looks disinterested and has done for some time his heart is back home
  10. At least on a level par with a centre-back we didn't really need any more midfielders and if our defence was that shocking 14th would have been beyond us
  11. A striker was priority as there is no backup for lambert as in a natural replacement I don't see j rod as a like for like replacement different kind of player
  12. Yes as our game is totally based around a high pressing midfield domination
  13. True, will seventeen days be enough though? Seems we were totally focused on midfielders when it was clear we needed a striker as priority. Lambert as good as he is will get burnt out and wont make ninety every game and J rod is a different kind of player
  14. its the lack of a quality striker to back up Lambert that worries me think we are ok in other areas
  15. Loving the prediction from Joel Northam that says we will finish forth top ten would be fantastic
  16. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2381585/Newcastle-0-Sunderland-9-Free-spending-Paolo-Di-Canio-leaves-Toon-fans-feeling-like-poor-relations.html sunderland have signed the most players nine practically a new team, saints near the bottom at two I'm sure we will come good and pull a unexpected quality signing out the sleeve.
  17. Admittedly not the best of footballers but he scored some vital goals for saints and definitely did his bit to put us on the path to where we are now so calling him that is a little disrespectful
  18. Im going for this too, do you think his record is gash so far then?
  19. Yes Barcelona are clearly a clone of saints in every single way
  20. Apolgies man enough to admit when I've jumped the gun wish the article had filled me in properly. And to the poster below I don't hate Ramirez I said he was talented just not using it well so far
  21. why would we want someone at the club who can't even be arsed to turn up for pre season training on time?
  22. Gaston has plenty of talent and I look forward to being proved wrong and am happy to eat my own words should he do so but I've never seen anyone more lightweight on the ball simply faling over at the faintest of tackles or running straight into trouble and losing posession he makes Lallana look strong and gave the ball away more than any other player
  23. Gary hooper is looking much the more likely signing according to reports and would be a less expensive gamble not saying he's in the same class but look how Ricky turnt out
  24. I personally don't want us to be a big generic club that's only supported because its fashionable and successful ie man united Chelsea etc there's a certain credibility about supporting your local club to me teams like man united represent the very worst they are the Simon cowell of the football world and dominate the market!
