I think we need to ask serious questions about our recruitment/scouting department I would think we are near the top if not the top for locating flop players and paying over the odds for them!

It seems the club as a whole we're not prepared for the Premier league. It was blindingly obvious to all but them that we would need a step up in quality of both the players and the manager, you simply can't go into this league with an inexperienced manager like Martin playing a rigid style with so many sub standard players that said we really should be doing better than Martin is achieving and finishing 17th should have been achievable

Exactly this, reasonable performances are all good and well but in our case they don't put enough points on the board and Russells claims that we are just unlucky every game only goes so far! No other team has been as unlucky as us

Shame that in most cases they get little or no support from the other players who are often still halfway up the pitch
