  1. First I was like, "what?" Then I was like And then I was like
  2. We forgive them their sins
  3. Bertrand has looked more than presentable as well
  4. Yep, team needs our support now more than ever.
  5. Very commanding performance, a great buy.
  6. I think his problem is he lacks a yard of pace, he doesn't get in to the dangerous areas. I still think he's a talent though.
  7. Tadic when he hit it with the side of his boot?
  8. So want to like Pelle, he's just not in it at the moment. Don't think he needs everyone on his back after two games though, there's still a very good chance he can lift his game. Side note, he cost the same as Ideye who looked very threatening.
  9. Schooled a bit by Wham second half.
  10. http://www.afrikansoccer.com/2014/05/kenyan-midfielder-wanyama-wants-to-join-former-saints-boss-pochettino-at-spurs/ http://www.afrikansoccer.com/2014/02/manchester-city-eyeing-southamptons-kenyan-midfielder-wanyama/ I think it is Wanyama's agent stirring trying to drum up interest. Judging by comments when Wanyama was originally linked to Arsenal calling it a "stepping stone" he feels Wanyama is far too big for us.
  11. Artur attracts the best posters We do not hate Boruc, most of us are quite fond of him and recognise he is a very good keeper, we just don't like him airing his laundry in public via instagram. (Irene hasn't helped).
  12. Too late for our game thankfully or else guaranteed to score after all of us slating him
  13. Koeman said WHEN he leaves, there's little to no chance he's staying.
  14. This could be a bad thing for us, I wonder how much of the transfer fee was pegged on a call up to the Italian national team?
  15. Ah crap, unfortunately Balotelli is a good signing for them and I was hoping they'd struggle up front.
  16. The club obviously is leaking to the echo. Still laughing at the fee Tottenham offered though.
  17. Koeman has won a cup everywhere he's been I'd imagine cups are a close second to staying up in his priority list.
  18. I rather hope the irony of our fans lambasting Pompey for this attitude is not lost.
  19. To be fair, we were blatantly after Hernandez and Rojo and, if we'd got them instead of our backups, I would have been incredibly optimistic so that's probably where he was coming from. As it is, I think that the sales have meant we've had to settle for our third or fourth choices so everyone is a bit underwhelmed when compared to the earlier rhetoric. Still fairly happy with the squad though and the window isn't over.
  20. Gallagher is NOT a product of our academy, credit where it is due.
  21. Considering half the members of this forum suggested Chambers for cb I would be shocked and appalled if the club overlooked it. It was obvious ffs, don't make out Wenger as a genius for noticing.
  22. The Chambers and Morgan situation are strange to say the least. We were obviously willing to sell Morgan (and I think we would still like to) if the anticipated fan backlash wasn't so strong, I have no idea what the hell has been going on at our club this summer. We've replaced well but who the hell thought such wholesale changes were a good idea in the first place? More to the point can we expect this every transfer window if clubs meet our fair prices or will the board realise you simply can't sell everyone no matter how good the offers.
  23. We were a bit unstable at that time to be fair, I'm not sure anyone wanted to join us. We're a little more attractive than Palace now though I'd like to think.
