  1. Sky must be gutted. Not even in December and it's going to be 'The race for the Europa League continues with Burnley v Bournemouth in another Super Sunday'. As Liverpool broke I actually thought what happens if they score now. They've not played that well in most games yet already secured the title. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  2. I think he will walk, he's lost belief and so have the players. I've said it before but I'd get Lee Johnson in from Bristol City. Nothing to lose now and he's done three seasons now in the Championship. Fans were calling for his head 2 years ago and he's turned it around. Works with what he has and is a great motivator who can change games when things aren't going well. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. The win against Arsenal was as good as it got. The laziness of the media thinking he's a good manager has probably kept him in the job. Players have lost belief and so has he. Needs to walk tonight Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  4. As sad as it is, it's been too easy making money on us losing. Only made about £1500 but better than nothing this season. It actually took the bookies for us to get beat 9-0 to realise we are not that good. So much so they have Everton as slight favourites against us, so might not be worth it going forward Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  5. Better, but we need to put in performances and take points from Everton and Watford. Also a win or draw would have probably sealed the title for Liverpool Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  6. Will still end 3 or 4-1 but we've done OK for 30 mins at least Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  7. Gone already. There's no bottle or leaders in the team, and our centre backs just aren't good enough whatever the combination. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  8. Not sure whether to laugh or cry. This has been brewing for a few seasons now, we are in such a mess but it stems from Les Reed. As I've mentioned a few times, I'd bring in Lee Johnson from Bristol City now to start preparing for the Championship. Relegation might be the only way we will get rid of these players. 9. I think he has lost all belief. Get Lee Johnson in before it's too late Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  10. How's our recent record on Sky? As bad as we are, I feel Leicester are due a defeat. They would go 2nd with a win which I can't see happening. Scrappy 2-1 win (Ings pen 41, Vardy 48, Valery 82) Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  11. After watching Bristol City again last night, if Ralph fails to keep us up we should go all out to get Lee Johnson. Every season he has had to contend losing 3-4 of his best players, and then got the most out of his squad. Also great and turning games around and utilising subs to great effect. A really good motivator, and will have great knowledge of the league. It wouldn't surprise me if a lower Prem team goes for him this season Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  12. He just needs that first goal, he's been a bit unlucky so far. Will definitely be an asset for next season in the Championship though. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  13. Should VAR be overruling the ref's decision on a challenge in the middle of the pitch? Klopp is raging, but how far back should it go in the build up? It was the same when Salah was offside against us last season for the equaliser. It's got the majority of the decisions right, but the FA haven't worked out yet how to use it properly. There's been several occasions where penalties should have been awarded. Take it away and it'll be back to people moaning. Without it we'd be bottom of the league so I'm not complaining at the moment but they still need to do some serious work on it Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  14. Certainly been better than Gunn at keeping goals out Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  15. That's where we will be staying unfortunately. We are lucky to have as many points as we do, we just won't be able to win enough games to stay up. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  16. Awful. Ralph seems to have gone backwards after initially getting a tune out of this team. I've always backed him but now starting to question him. The playing squad just isn't good enough. Gunn has made mistakes the last 2 games. We've had no decent cbs for a few years now. The midfield trio are too pedestrian, Hoj and JWP may have passion, but their ability is limited, JWP really adds nothing in open play. They are too safe, and there is no one to drive the ball forward. Ings puts the effort in, but isn't helped much by those behind him. I'm not sure if we can get enough results to be safe this year. We've been going downhill for over 3 seasons now. The main offender in all of this is undoubtedly Les Reed, and now others are having to try and sort out the mess. Sure it's early days in the season, but I'm struggling to name three teams who have looked worse and more vulnerable than us. Last season Fulham and Cardiff were doomed early on. The 3 promoted teams are already showing some fight and its very worrying. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  17. Even at this early stage we look doomed. To be in control for the first 15 mins then concede such a soft goal is unacceptable. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  18. Wouldn't fancy us to win against any of those at home though. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  19. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Enter Paulo Gazzaniga Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  20. Will be a tough game, but Chelsea are not as strong as they have been in recent seasons. I think we might just grind out a 1-1 draw. (Abraham 18, Redmond 68, Hojbjerg sent off 81) Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  21. It's a valid point regarding rebuilding, after the mess Les Reed left us in. I'm amazed 'Ole' keeps using it as an excuse for Utd, maybe Ralph should use it more to buy himself some more time. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  22. Missed opportunity for at least a point. Sad to say, but it's difficult to pick 3 worse sides than us. Luckily Watford aren't picking up points, but undoubtedly we are going to be in another relegation scrap with no improvement from last year. I'd be surprised if we are not in the bottom 3 by the end of October. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  23. I think that's our best back 4 line up, better late than never. Plenty enough to get at them and win comfortably. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  24. Looks a tough run. The most winnable games are Wolves and Everton. We really need to take 7 points minimum but 3-4 looks more likely. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  25. McCarthy Cedric Bednarek Yoshida Bertrand Hoj Romeu JWP Boufal Redmond Ings We can't afford to be nervous, as sh1t as they are they will be fired up for it Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
