  1. let's be honest, he'd walk straight into this team alongside Romeu as one of our best players. Anyone who says otherwise is deluded or bitter that he left. Can't see it happening though, it wouls essentially be an admission of failure on his part. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  2. Thats how you finish Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  3. Puel just picks names out a ****ing hat Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  4. Awful line up. Very poor from Puel. Will take advantage of the price on Bournemouth. Disgraceful Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  5. Great work by Puel to improve the defence. Only one goal conceded now in three games. Really impressive stuff. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  6. Decent enough line up. Should be good enough for a 1-1 draw, with Long finally getting on the scoresheet. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  7. They do seem overpriced at 2/1, thought they would be favourites being at home. Especially as it may be a cold wednesday night in Stoke Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  8. Didn't watch today but doesn't sound great. Boufal seems to have a bit of match winning quality, but we are so thin on the ground now for strikers. Still, we only had 21 points after 17 games last season, so 1 from the next two games and we will be at the same level. Two tough games now, it seems everyone on here thinks Stoke and Bournemouth are better teams than us, so I guess we have no chance against either. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  9. Klopp has said Sturridge won't be leaving in January. We were very close to signing Haller in August but pulled the plug on the deal at the last minute. Expect to see us go back for him. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  10. I think VVD is off in January now. You saw how much it meant to him, but too many others didn't care. I appreciate how far we have come in the last few years. Massive respect for everything Les Reed has done for the club, but the whole project sadly reached its peak, and it is only downhill from here. I think last night signalled the beginning of the end for us. The most sickening thing is the 'we need to bounce back on sunay' bull****. Sunday is ****ing irrelevant. Boro can beat us 6-0 and it wont change much. We needed a result LAST NIGHT. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  11. Awful. The end of the road. Season over far too early. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  12. Think we will get the 0-0, but in all honesty this team is not good enough to progress further in Europe, whoever we draw. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  13. Nervous for tonight. We should be winning this comfortably but then you could say that for a few games this season. Got the insurance bet on for tonight. 9/5 on either the draw or a Hapoel win. A 0-0 draw would make it a nice win-win situation Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  14. It's going to be such an up and down season with the meltdowns on here. I said at the start of the season, with the europa to play in, that the **** results against the likes of Hull and Palace were going to be far more regular Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  15. The lack of goals is still a worry. An off day for a usually solid defence. A lot on here were praising the attack against Everton but we still went 90 mins without a goal in that game. Anyway, today is a write off. Bring on thursday Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  16. This is going to be a repeat of the Hull game. We will put out a strong team, dominate, score once. Then 2 late Benteke goals to seal the win for Palace Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  17. Still winnable. Let's do this Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  18. Liverpool wouldn't be the worst draw. Utd look to be the only team really going for it. Hats off to Puel the tinkerman. Great result Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  19. Arsenal's second 11 is still far stronger than ours. Looks like Davis and Boufal may start. But if we line up with Stuart Taylor, Martina, Ward Prowse and Yoshida then I'll be expecting a similarly **** perfornance to last thursdays. Come on Claude, forget Saturday, this is a massive opportunity! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  20. It's always pretty quiet this time of year so the papers have to fill their colums with a bit of transfer gossip. We are known as a selling club, and VVD is the best cb in the league on current form. It's hardly a surprise to see him linked with a move to a different club every day. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  21. I hope so. It just looks like, understandably, the focus is more on the league and europa. We are better off going for this now we are in a good position, but I think Puel will put out a much weakened side. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  22. I think Arsenal's reserves will have too much for ours. Think we will see a lot of changes. In all honesty the plan was probably to ignore this competition; we have just happened to have drawn two awful sides so far and accidentally beat them. If we play Long and J Rod then our best hope will be taking it to penalties. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  23. Unconvincing, but we needed the win and got it. Sims looked very lively, but we were missing that cutting edge again. Tadic is a big loss. Still, gotta be happy with the three points! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  24. Worried where the goals are going to come from. Don't know a lot about Sims. Although two years ago we put a terrible 11 out against them and won 3-0, so who knows Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  25. Massive game. If we fail to win today and get knocked out Wednesday then things won't be looking good. Everton are in poor form too though. If VVD keeps Lukaku quiet, we should win this. Going to go for 2-0 Saints. Austin and Henry to score. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
