I can't recall the game, but I remenber Kevin Phillips falling over in the penalty box with closest defender being meters from him. He won a penalty, which was subsequently scored!

I've never met him, but have worked on his yachts. He did have a massive passion for diving and has kitted out his boats accordingly. Unfortunately his illness has prevented all this in recent years, so I do wish him well and hope he can beat the cancer!

Same happened to me, I saw a local on a crappy street corner in Dakar. The old Sandersons shirt I think it was.

Just back from the game. My first this season and what a disgrace! The last game I went to was Palace at home last season and the difference is frigtening. Mr Pardew has his work cut out now! The midfield was non existant and the game was pretty much played with a long ball from the back for to either Mellis or Lambert. Mellis looks a good prospect, unfortunately Town were all over him like a rash! We did not look remotely like scoring and yet again Kelvin saved our necks on a number of occasions.......... Another bad day at the office!!!

I was just checking the Swindon website for away supporters positions in the ground as its years since I have been to the County Ground. Obviously we have the same web designers. The similarity is shocking, I hope we did not pay too much for our revamp!

I agree with Phil. Having watched the 7's tournaments years ago in Dubai and how it has expended to what it is today, anything that puts SMS on the map is a good thing for the club and the city! Plus there is a chance to see an entertaining match on the pitch instead of the usual tears and disappointment! (Only joking!)

I just find the whole scenario alarming, in that we are struggling to save our club based around sums of money in the region of 8 million. Where as at the top end of the leagues, there are reports that Ronaldo could be sold to Real Madrid for around 70 million. The differences within the English football league are obscene!
