Part of the loan deal is that they can't play against their parent club. Thats a Premier league rule not something agreed between clubs.

If he goes to a top six side he will be second choice for a long time, they all have their first choice keepers set. If he chose us there is a good chance he could be first choice by some point this season.

I think if/when Jay Rod signs that'll be us done on forwards. We will have Jay Rod, Lambert, Sharp, Lee as the main 4. I think Barnard will be moved on, but there is also Guly who can play upfront. I don't think we are in a posistion to have 5 forwards going for 2 places. On to the midfield, defence and goalkepper now i reckon..

I have no problem with signing Jay Rod but think the price is a little high. Would have prefered a lower price with add ons plus Chaplow than £6.5 plus add ons plus Chaplow. Maybe £1.5m too much
