Stearman has been poor at Wolves this season. To be honest, none of their defence have come out of this season well. I thought Johnson would have been a good signing at the start of the season but he seems to be a mess at the mo.

Anyone know how much QPR, Norwich and Swansea spent on transfers upto 31AUG11 when the transfer window shut? Not that it affects what we will spend, just interested as a form of comparision.

Trevor Birch indicated money will run out at end of May, but transfer window doesn't open until June 9th and Football League AGM is June 2nd.

I think the summer will really show what our aim is for next season. Assuming we get promoted are we going for survival or are we aiming higher? I think, we need a new keeper who will come in to push Davis with the aim of replacing him (don't think Bart is prem standard) I would like a right back with a bit of pace, i fear Richardson may struggle next season with quicker wide men. A centre back to compete with Jos and Fonte, i think Jaidi and Seaborne will be moved on. A right midfielder, i think we have struggled here most of the season and haven't really replaced AOC A centre midfielder to compete with Morgan and Cork for a starting place A cover left mid for when Adam isn't available, probably a younger player happy to play 2nd fiddle. If Connolly and Barnard are moved on also then a 4th forward to go with Sharp, Ricky and Lee.

On south today it said it took jury less than an hr to find him not guilty.

In my ever so wishful thinking, i put a £2 bet on Reading and West Ham to lose and Saints to win tonight. Got 46/1 on it.

The difference so far this season has been the results against eachother. Reading earned 4 from Southampton & 6 from West Ham Southampton earned 1 from Reading & 4 from West Ham West Ham 0 from Reading & 1 from Southampton Reading 3 pts clear of us (having earned 3 more points from us than we have them) and 6 clear of West Ham (earned 6 more from them). We are 3 pts behind Reading (having earned 3 less from them ) and 3 clear of West Ham (earned 3 more from them) West Ham 6 behind Reading and 3 behind us. I know this isn't the only reason but shows the difference..

I guess I'm not in for a windfall now. £20 at 18/1 for us being champions at start of the season. Was going to buy an iPad with winnings. Ah well as long as we get promoted that's the important thing now.
