  1. Thailand. Chiang Mai.
  2. are you back often? It's gone backwards since I was a young 'un on a night out. Loads of fawning buffoons, knuckledraggers and gob****es to keep even the most hardiest of men entertained!
  3. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/2432649.city_is_third_most_dangerous_place_in_britain_to_live/ Then again... http://newslite.tv/2010/08/13/portsmouth-is-the-cleverest-ci.html
  4. Not bollo..cks, 3rd highest for violent crime in the UK recently and I think our exam results were pretty poor, too...
  5. Intellectually, it is one of the thickest in the UK. Allegedly. Additionally, it's also one of the most violent. Gah, it's still home though.

  11. http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,,16465_7929045,00.html Sounds like a decent guy, quite reasonable. Even he realises its the owners he caused the mess.
  12. The cyber lynching continues... well done, Neil Allen and co.
  13. Young Villa centre-half/midfielder. Very useful.
  14. It's gone hot again, apparently! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/scott-dann-is-southampton-target-with-35million-1154161

  16. It seemed that it was about a 40%/60% split who were reasonable/wanted to debate sensibly. I wonder if that correlates to the general fanbase. To be fair, I always had the "facking scumma" section to be way higher, and that's exactly the people Neil Allen is rather dangerously playing up to. Maybe I was just pleasantly surprised with the general, not-overly hostile welcome... or maybe I just missed the angry posts as they had been deleted before I saw them!
  17. Right, that's me done. For those that did speak to me (as opposed to abuse me) on there, I do have some understanding for how they must feel. They did, to their credit, come back with pretty solid facts about questioning the clubs ownership before the poop hit the fan and did answer many of the questions pretty honestly and candidly, fair play. It was quite an insightful (no, really!) to see their perspective, though it's clear to see that there are a few who "facking" hate us, irrespective.
  18. We often get tanked at Everton. Therefore, at the moment, my only prediction is a tanking. At Everton.
  19. Someone wants to punch one of their own supporters? That said, I can understand. I am a bit of a knob sometimes, if not most of the time.
  20. I hope he's got a hard enough punch because I can't get to sleep this evening
  21. After hearing some of them speak and listening to their reasoning it seems pretty sound so, yes, I do feel some sympathy - far more than I did previous. What has been said on there was that questions had been asked of Gaydamak and CSI's ownership/Lampitt's involvement but they could only really do so much. I can kind of resonate with that, though I do think Saints as fans have been far more proactive, whilst Pompey have been reactive when we've encountered similar situations. The first I have sympathy for (I didn't used to, I used to class them all under very much the same umbrella). The other group it's hard to have sympathy for. I think they're convinced I'm on there out of some sort of p1ss take, but it's more a morbid curiosity with a lashing of genuine interest. Sure, I've been a big p1sstaker on here but what I've heard on there is a genuine concern and understanding with what's going on from a few of them, defo. Better understanding than I gave them credit for, that's for sure.
  22. Yeah, it's been pretty reasoned until now, though I think that's now changed. Shame really, was starting to enjoy hearing a different perspective. PompeyScot's been very fair so far, though I've just said I'm dipping out now as it'll cause him more trouble than it's worth if I stick around. I've taken the p1ss BIG TIME on here but it's been quite interesting hearing the viewpoint east of us, something I've actually seldom done as I was too busy rofl'ing on here, as rivals do.
  23. That is just not a very cool move, is it? Allen drumming it up again. He's basically inviting nutjobs (is that us?) to lynch mob the players...
  24. This is the bit when I say... "Well, since I've been on there, they've been alright" That said, I think I've been fairly lucky so far, though most have been happy enough to explain their perception of events. Hopefully it's making for interesting reading.
  25. I think it's just begun, though most responses have been so far erudite and interesting. Hopefully we're learning something over here. I will, of course, press on what we've discussed about on here. Very interesting, this.
