  1. JRod is at SMS, factoid.
  2. According to Saintswebs Paul Chuckle, JR is in the building! Excited!
  3. Which is why I would never, ever let him play for England, again. He does it every time he plays and disrupts the rhythm of the team. Bloody roy-of-the-rovers rubbish...
  4. 1. Carrick, Britton, Osman, A Johnson, Jarvis, Pilkington, Joe Cole, Lennon... Lallana. Do you think other sides would really ignore that kind of attacking talent at their disposal? Answer is, they don't. They embrace them. Still, as a nation we have a habit of ignoring our better players, our mavericks (Marsh, Bowles, Le Tissier etc) in favour of limited footballers like Batty, Ince, Barry etc etc. 2. Yes, I mean it. If you put Schneiderlin in City's midfield, it'll have no other effect other than improve them. Put Barry in our midfield and our midfield would struggle. So, in your opinion, Downing, Milner, Barry etc are more likely to make something happen than a Lallana? Ha. Ok then. We'll revise that when he's doing the business in the Premier League, shall we? Doesn't matter what league you play in, if you've got it, you've got it and if you haven't, you haven't. A sizeable chunk of the England squad would not even stand out in the Championship as they're not very good football players - just fortunate enough to be catapulted into the EPL megastars category because they're English and have one or two decent games every now and then. Leon Britton is a perfect example of a better footballer who'd be hacking around in the lower leagues but is infinitely better than some of our more "established" internationals. I'm not complaining about the result (and thanks for free the diagnosis of mental illness, appreciated) but we were playing Norway who were, all in all, the better footballing side. This is why we keep getting outplayed by other nations.. continuous ignorance of our better footballers. FWIW, my ideal squad for the Euros is below. Wibble.
  5. In my Euro 2012 ideal squad I had Britton. Superb little player. Instead utter tripe like Barry gets in, so what do we know eh? :-/
  6. Sorry yeah, forgot him. Carrick too. Just rolled some names off the cuff.
  7. Turgid, uninspiring win from another never-will-be's, has-been's and a couple of half-decent footballers. Why, oh why do we continue to persist with sh1te like Barry, Milner and Downing I don't know. Henderson ... major ROFL. Richards, Jagielka, Crouch and Lennon left out.... disgrace. I like Roy, but he's just made the same mistake as the rest of the managers by making uninspiring choices. Whereas Germany go for Gotze, Ozil, Schweinsteiger, Kroos and Mueller we leave most of our players of equal ability at home. Nevermind, he'll be hounded out before WC2014 anyway. Then we'll have a 36 year old Frank Lampard captaining us in Brazil. There was only one player in that midfield tonight who I'd have over any of the Saints starting midfield.
  8. rallyboy, oh rallyboy... I'm of the same opinion as everyone else... I don't know what you do, but f()cking hell, you're funny!
  9. You even got my position right, howdya know I was a left back!?
  10. Zara for me.
  11. No Portsmouth in any of those lists? Bizarre.
  12. Defo a catchment area thing. Our catchment area must be over 8,000 miles/sq now.

  15. Cracking forward-thinking manager. Just finished his interview with WBA today. Apparently it went very, very well...!
  16. Allegedly.... Lee Clark. 10/1 at the moment.
  17. Who would like a tip-off on next manager of WBA?
  18. Michael Owen ... If DC frees up the physios bench tomorrow
  19. They're all going for Rafa on here; http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=293625.0 And it's this kind of mentality which p1sses so many people off. F()cking arrogant weirdos; and.... and... Morons.
  20. I have been advocating a Parker, Wilshere, Carrick midfield for years but it looks as if we will have to settle for another inept performance from a group of midfielders who are at best past-it, cumbersome and fail to get even the basics right. Those 3 could have been our Xavi, Iniesta and Senna. Henderson and Downing wtf
  21. ROFL-tastic post but....
  22. I'm not even a massive fan of Lampard but I can't stand Gerrard. He pretty much single-handedly disrupts the flow of teams with his Roy of the Rovers guff.
  23. I'll throw my international experiences into the ring. Hmmmph. English Trinidadian/Tobagan Iranian That's it. I'm going to collect some more this year though, defo.
