  1. Wouldn't mind going to this health and safety hazard whilst in Venice...
  2. Just reading through this remarkable thread which has kind of inspired me to post this. Has anyone out there been to a strange football ground, anywhere in the world? My own strangest football ground experience had to be Luton away 05/06 - entering the ground via a row of terraced houses and upon climbing the antiquated metal stairwell, looking left and right and being able to peak into other peoples back gardens (IIRC). Likewise Bradford was another strange one, as was Southend - though they were more dated as opposed to strange. The most notable "strange" ground I can recall in popular culture is in Braga, Portugal where it's cut into the hillside. I think The9 has been there, maybe he can confirm. That said, there are plenty more strange stadiums around the world so if you're not busy, take a look at that thread above and see if there are any stadiums there you've been to... and I'd love to hear your experience! I'm pretty sure we had our own strange stadium not too long ago...;

  8. are you back often? It's gone backwards since I was a young 'un on a night out. Loads of fawning buffoons, knuckledraggers and gob****es to keep even the most hardiest of men entertained!

  10. Not bollo..cks, 3rd highest for violent crime in the UK recently and I think our exam results were pretty poor, too...
  11. Intellectually, it is one of the thickest in the UK. Allegedly. Additionally, it's also one of the most violent. Gah, it's still home though.

  18. The cyber lynching continues... well done, Neil Allen and co.
  19. Young Villa centre-half/midfielder. Very useful.

  22. It seemed that it was about a 40%/60% split who were reasonable/wanted to debate sensibly. I wonder if that correlates to the general fanbase. To be fair, I always had the "facking scumma" section to be way higher, and that's exactly the people Neil Allen is rather dangerously playing up to. Maybe I was just pleasantly surprised with the general, not-overly hostile welcome... or maybe I just missed the angry posts as they had been deleted before I saw them!
  23. Right, that's me done. For those that did speak to me (as opposed to abuse me) on there, I do have some understanding for how they must feel. They did, to their credit, come back with pretty solid facts about questioning the clubs ownership before the poop hit the fan and did answer many of the questions pretty honestly and candidly, fair play. It was quite an insightful (no, really!) to see their perspective, though it's clear to see that there are a few who "facking" hate us, irrespective.
  24. We often get tanked at Everton. Therefore, at the moment, my only prediction is a tanking. At Everton.
  25. Someone wants to punch one of their own supporters? That said, I can understand. I am a bit of a knob sometimes, if not most of the time.
