I was about to say the same thing...

WTF is that!? Whoever the architect is, he should be shot. Whoever sanctioned it should also be put down, violently.

Cheers Steve, Joensuu... very helpful (although I know SG made the initial query!) On a personal note, I'm pretty competent with PS and I'm not brilliant but OK with DW, but I am learning. All information on web development and design is helpful.

Haha, funny you should ask that question Spudgun, I'm toiling with Dreamweaver as it is - I'm still trying to discover the best route to 'learn' web design etc myself... so any responses on here about courses, online 'help' would be very, very handy...

That was... genuinely written by a Skate?

200K tops, no way a £1m player. I'd dread to think of his wage demands too. Plenty knocking around in the Champ and possibly L1 who could be considered but value for money..

Well, they're unfortunate!

Blurgh, I can't stand champagne women. Every mainstream girl these days is a fergie, or a beyonce, or a jordan, or a paris. Gimme a nice, intellectual emo girl every time.

Finally seen the overly-patriotic (to the extent of feeling a bit sickly) BNP election broadcast (forgive me, I hadn't seen it yet). Whilst we all know what the BNP say (some of it appealing) and what they'd really do, I couldn't help but notice Richard Barnbrook was fashioninng himself on Joseph Goebbels :-o Genuine and innocent use of the 'sand' suit or deliberate fashioning?

Y'know, I was thinking exactly the same thing. Perhaps Storrie had been pursuing that prudent approach all along...

A skate recently said...: :o:o

They really don't know when to get off, do they? http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Watch-Cup-Final-At-The-Pyramids-898.aspx

Oi oi, lolz http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/NewsAndFeatures/2010/FAStatement_280410 I love this one in particular: Pwned.

But is it definitely THE Ian Darke, do you know? I saw that but I couldn't envisage him writing that load of old rubbish...

Couldn't see it anywhere else so here you go: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/iandarke/Ridiculous-rant-at-Pompey-shows.6256760.jp Just goes to show that is not just the fans, the players and Android who are delusional, even their own paper is too (should we really have expected anything else though, really?) Do they really think if they keep affirming that they are hard done by, eventually it will become the truth? C()nts. Still, I hope I'm not the only one curdling away every time I read another whinge, moan or ill-informed opinion... Why the feck do we have to keep explaining the same things over and over again to them as well?

Money trouble, perhaps?

Win or lose the FA Cup final, Skates to party.

I don't think we're biting at all. Your response was blatantly meaningful. You've obviously noted that you are in a very small and misguided minority regarding PFC since (yes, the club of shame) you've changed tact. No hard feelings, PL... but you're still the official club of shame. -
Unbelievable delusion. Absolutely unreal. It's like running someone over then whinging about your car being damaged.

Nothing like revelling in your own shame. -
It gets even more gross :-( Jeez, so so so so brutal

John Terry is Sergio Aguero's wife.

The worst thing about this sorry mess for me is that not one ex-director or player has put their hand in their pockets and paid off the smaller amounts. Sickening. Just goes to show you where the real "fault" lies and who the morally bankrupt ones are. Fair play to the fans... but I do wish they'd "gotten" the situation a bit earlier than they did...

I can't deny this is inspired by Guided Missle's sentiments, it is. However, I'm afraid though this isn't another 'call to arms' to support our friends down the road. This is a small reflection on the past twelve months. Well, I have to say it has been thoroughly enjoyable to have a fanbase almost entirely pulling in the right direction. Of course, having a multi-billionaire owner and shrewd chairman helps, as does as an astute and competent manager. We've been blessed on all accounts. Though this is my tribute to the fans. The 50,000 fans who mobilized themselves for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, the fans who continued to attend in their droves despite our rather depressive league status. The ones who have dedicated their time, money and support to follow Southampton around England's backwaters. We don't and have never claimed to be the best fans in the world but credit where it is undoubtedly due - and it is. Despite my personal conflicts and differences with some on this board over the previous regime I am immensely proud to be a Saints fan. It's a refreshing change to talk about the squad, tactics and transfers as opposed to directors, finance and the red-cheeked one. It's nice to scroll the board and read of hope and anticipation instead of discontent and despair. It's so nice to have more than a semblance of unity, finally. We've all played our part (me not so much, I've been out of the country so consider me an ex-ex-pat!) but I'm back now and I cannot wait for the new season already. The most exciting thing is I believe our journey and ascent is only just beginning! I don't even know why I wrote this; I just felt an overbearing sense of contentment and happiness with what we've achieved and how good our fans have been this season, even though I could only participate and view from sunnier climbs abroad. So, I doff my hat to all Saints fans - who in essence, have acted with integrity and respectability during difficult times. You didn't p1ss and moan about punishments and if you did, you got over it pretty quick and set about concentrating your efforts positively. The blue few have a lot to learn from us. We're now getting our just desserts, so to speak. Like I said... I think good times are only just beginning

Why on earth is it being alluded to that sinking a warship of an enemy as unethical? F()cking hell - it could have been going skywards for all I care, it was still a part of a hostile enemies forces. Would they afforded us the same compassion? So.. what do people suggest? We let it get away? Then it comes back and inflicts heavy losses on our own forces but we all breathe a sigh of relief because at least we done the 'morally correct thing?' "Hey, that Belgrano just sunk one of ours but hey, at least we didn't sink it when we had the chance, that would have been wrong, so wrong - gotta play by the rules, old boy!... anyone for an empanada?"
