Hello all Big problemo... i have been tasked with creating a DVD slideshow with 12 pictures that will loop continuously... problem is, I don't know how or where to start. Creating the slideshow and then having to transfer it so that it is compatable with a standard DVD player is the problem I'm having. Does anyone know a program out there where I can do this? Or does anyone on here have facilities or expertise to make this DVD? I have the Ulead DVD workshop trial version, but it will only let me make something which is 10 images long. Have to have this done very soon so time is of the essence... can anyone help!?!? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease

Bloody hell, imagine Thomson, Lancashire, Molyneux and Bart in the same defence Of that team, there are probably only two or three who could step up and provide adequate cover... and that's not alot over a 46 game season (exc cups) The real difference between CCC and L1 is not the quality, its the size of the clubs in the divisions IMO.

I would agree with you there... thing is... we may have a decent first 11 if all our fit... but we have no depth to cover if we have a spate of injuries. Yes, it is another rung down the footballing ladder but I don't think there is a massive gap between the CCC and L1. See recent promotions/relegations as statistical evidence.

Why don't we give an unproven yet hungry player a chance at this level instead of letting them knock around in what is effectively our 'B' team for a few years until they go stale (or ripe enough for the first squad, according to the selectors.) Yeah... he decides to follow them for one whole season to every game. An amazing journey... I still retain a soft spot for Hellas and its been a couple of years since I last read the book. And I find myself hating 'The Donkeys' (Chievo Verona) with an intense passion, too. Strange, but once you read the book, you kinda understand! Bloody small-time Veronese upstarts...

That's exactly what I had hoped to hear because, whilst I find the story of Romario et al enlightening, it's always good to dig deeper and find out a little more than the most successful footballing exports of a particular country. Having said that, Garrincha's story I'm sure is an interesting read. Didn't he have a problem with his legs when he was younger? They were bowed by a disease? I still haven't seen anything on Argentine football yet, other than Maradona's autobiography which was a good read but a little one-sided and loud...

Oh God, I think whilst we are on the subject I bring up one of the most infamous books on Italian Football. The Miracle Of Castel Di Sangro. Truly, utterly, unbelievable from the first page to the last. The one on Hellas Verona is also brilliant... I think it was done by Tim Ryan, can't remember the name of it though..

Seeing as we've somehow morphed onto football books, I am now tempted list and recommend some from my extensive collection. Many, of which, has probably prolonged my insomina as opposed to have helped cure it...
