As others have said, drink water throughout the night and especially before going to bed. In the morning drink more water and then have a Big Mac, followed by ibuprofen, and washed down with Irn Bru.

100% agree with this.

Well, there's 2 who will be staying on the wage bill then (unless the club gets wound up of course).

JPT Final - match thread for those that couldnt go :-(
Minsk replied to sfcuk fan's topic in The Saints
That was a great afternoon. Rushed in from work; came on here to find a link to watch on-line; opened link and found we were 1-0 up; had a fair few vodkas whilst cheering like mad at everything; loved seeing the smile on Markus' face (thanks Markus); loved it even more when the trrophy was raised; and even more still when Papa ran to touch it (IMO he has been the main man for us in the tournament). All in all, what an excellent feeling and an excellent day!!!! COYS (And thanks again to the person who posted the link!) -
And from Minsk too. That was awesome!!!!!!

I thought it had to be by tomorrow??? I may be wrong.

Indeed he does, and by my reckoning he is owed the remainder of his origanl loan at 13.5m plus the 15m for the admin process = 28.5m. If he takes control he will have to fork out even more money. He would then pocket: the 26m? parachute payments; whatever profit they do make on player sales (I think this will be no more than 5m, at best, once sell on fees, agents, TAX, etc, have been taken out); 1m per year in rent of Farton; and whatever other TV revenues may come in. This would mean Poopy having to have a VERY low wage bill, i.e. VERY poor players, thus meaning they will soon find their PROPER PLACE in the football ladder: in League 2 (especially when they, hopefully, incur -17 next season followed by the -25 the season after for Storrie's tax evasion).
-
And not only that but on much higher wages....... :^o:lol::lol:

Classic! As well as owning up to his own stupidity re negotiating contracts and admiting taking £500k out of the club in August when he knew full well they were in financial doo-doo, in this interview he also says that: Arkadi was really funding Poopy and that Azougy was acting as a shadow director. I really hope the PL, FA or whoever take him (and the club) to task over these two points. Personally, I am still of the opine that Ali Al Faraj's real name is Arkadi Gaydamak; or at least that AAF was following AG's orders.

I was berthed quite close to her when visiting Long Beach on HMS Lancaster, which was quite cool as my grandfather worked as head chef on the Queen Mary for a few years (in the 1940's).

I would never have guessed from your username. I'm just a sprog, I only did 25 years looking for those little tin cans.
-
I could smell your presence on this thread before I even checked back here! And it is underpensioned ex-skimmer!! Anyway, isn't it about time you went away in your little tin can doing 6 on 6 off for weeks on end? I am sure that would help out with your sleep problems!

Neither of us were in any way 'harsh' on NickG, and I am sure that SOS will be as happy as I am that we were wrong.
-
Wow, fantastic! Thanks for the link. So there is still a possibility of it being -25 in Poorsmuff come August!

I completely empathise with you. This is what happened to my first ship: After the outrage of these pics they now remove the penant number from ships before using them as target practice. (The irony of this particular one being that Lowestoft was an ASW trials ship and was then subsequently 'taken out' by a torpedo.)

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a cut-off date in the PL, or that they would be carried over to next season if relegated without the deduction. However, I am pretty confident they will start next season on at least -15 without them.
-
It cut out for me for the third goal too.
-
Given the amount of times it has already cut out tonught, I think they will get at keast one more e-mail about this problem.

Personally, I am going to cling on to the hope of 2 things said in this article: 1. (As Rallyboy said) '...the company, in this case Portsmouth City Football Club Limited, asks the high court to be placed in administration.' 2. 'Going into administration means the club is UNLIKELY to face a winding-up petition on Monday.' My hope here is that the High Court refuse the request and make them go see to court on Monday instead. I am heartened by the use of the word 'unlikely' in the 2nd quote as this indicates that there is still some possiblility of it happening.

Story Teller confirmed today that the SOA says they are insolvent. The SOA started to be compiled prior to our match. In the FA rules any club that is insolvent is not allowed to compete in the FA Cup. Therefore, technically, they fielded 11 illegible players (plus subs) against us. However, if our dreams do come true they cease to exist next Monday I am certain that Brum will get a bye.

I'm pretty sure that the transfer window is open countries where this is the close season (Russia, Norway, etc) so I would assume they could sell to teams in those leagues anyway? Or would they only be able to loan until June? Either way, this really isn't going to happen; and it indicates a number of things (which others have pointed out) by them asking for it. Good times ahead methinks!

Eeeerrrmmmm, but you (PCFC) have only won the FA Cup once; the same as Saints. The club who won it previously ceased to exist 10 years ago! :smt033

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere (probably more than 100 pages back on here) that Chainrai's loan was secured against future TV revenue, as well as the stadium, etc, (hence why he got all hissy about HIS £7m being given to clubs to clear footballing debts). Most certainly, it wouldn't have only been Jans £7m used to secure against his £17m.
