Didn't see myself condoning it anywhere pal so nice try. If there aren't degrees of rape then why did ched Evans only get 5 years for an offence which carries a life sentence? Surely if rape is rape, there are no grey areas, everything is black and white, like you and other know it alls on here are making out then surely EVERY offence should carry life sentencing, there are no grey areas, it's the same offence in every circumstance so should carry the same penalty in every circumstance. Oh and by the way, the law says you and the kid Andy are both wrong.

You think that a wife getting drunk and having sex with her partner of 20 years when she doesn't really fancy it is going to be as traumatised as a woman who gets grabbed by a stranger in a park at night, her clothes ripped off and held at knife point whilst he forces himself on her, then left in a beaten mess on the floor? okay then.

Of course there are degrees of rape!! If a as duck says he gives his long term missus one when she's not really up for it and drunk whilst they are in their bed together after a night on the booze is totally different to a stranger holding a woman at knife point in a park and threatening to slit her throat if she doesn't let him do what he wants. Both could be considered rape in the yes of the law but if you can't tell the difference between the two then you're nuts.
  4. I'm not one that buys into the whole "*insert saints players name* is the answer what is the question" but that right back slot is his for the taking. Head and shoulders above the others.
  5. Can anyone remember him having a good game for England since Euro 2004?
  6. It could have been so different.
  7. Surprise surprise. It was Neil Ashton who ran the Radcliffe story. Also Dodd and Williams were coaching staff and also ex players, much higher profile than a guy who works in HR.
  8. You know what saints are like, we'll do it the hard way and beat one of them in the final on their own patch
  9. After you success of stopping Schniderlin going and single handedly saving the club in august, why didn't you post demanding he stay?
  10. Thought you'd have called them Tanadari??
  11. Surely MLG is a shoe in for this job? All that wealth of knowledge researching players on FM over the years.
  12. I feel for you pal, choosing a baby name is a difficult but exciting decision. There are a few definite dos and donts when considering this good buddy if you're asking for advice on a mongboard, you ain't posh, so don't give the fruit of your loins a posh name as everyone will think you're a bellend when you call him in yourdeepest 'ampshire accent. This Means Charles, Hugo, et all are all out. We went to Italy shortly after mrs T found out she was pregnant, she suggested and Italian name. What with is both being as Italian as Saab no words were need when that came up, the look was enough if you get my drift. If you ain't foreign don't give them a foreign name. A blonde haired, blue eyed boy call Luca or Alessandro, do me a favour, everyone would think 'bellend' Next it's names that are after places. Some dippy mum we know called her kid Asia FFS. The nearest she's been to Asia is Spice island curry house. It's just embarrassing. Finally and this is most important imagine the name being screamed at the top of his voice by an obese council estate mum wearing leggings, a vest top and lots of jewellery. If is sounds awful or the words "come 'ere you little c*nt" or "ain't he a sh it bag" flow too easily next then it's a definite no no. This instantly rules out names like Tyler, Connor, Kane and Lewis. It's not easy pal but I'm sure with my advice and other helpful mongboarders we can guide you towards the correct decision.
  13. Or if its a girl that tasteless ladies clothing brand, potential to call future offspring, Armani, Gucci etc. I'm probably going to call my next one Stone Island.
  14. They could call their next child M and say they are named after James Bond characters.

Think they were arrested but released with no charge after a Swedish girl claimed she had been sexually assaulted by them when we played a UEFA cup game over there.

Where do you draw the line? Can he play non league? Can he play for Romsey for £50 a week? Can he be a coach, a pundit, a physiotherapist for a football club? The fact of the matter is that regardless of his offence he's been punished for to as the law decided fit and is now able to get on with his life. That's not me being a rapist sympathiser, that's what the society we live in has decided is the right thing to do. What he does for a living should not make a difference unless his conviction prevents him from doing his job in the interests of safety of those that he might come into contact with whilst doing it.
  18. Absolutely laughable that a member of the back office staff is getting so much attention.

Perhaps people can put up a list of jobs that it is acceptable for him to do as it seems the one he has trained for all his life is now out of bounds. Or perhaps people can decide which Crimes mean you're free to carry on in the public eye and which ones aren't. Regardless of what people think about the bloke and the serious nature of his crime he's entitled to carry on with his life now having been punished for his crime. It's easy to be hysterical and demonise people, demanding he spends the rest of his life on the dole but it doesn't matter one jot if the blokes the biggest c*** on earth or not, he's been punished according to the law and is now free to carry on his life. If individual clubs don't want to employ him for moral reasons then that is their decision. If that is morally right or not is another issue but according to the law of the land and the society we live in, which by the way many of you are so to quick to laud as fantastic that it's so equal and free when it suits you, is how it is. You can't have it both ways. Or perhaps we should allow mob rule to apply in this instance?
  20. Poor lad, shambles of a club right now.
  21. Is there a transfer window for back room staff? Baffling that a member of staff being wanted by the at best third club in London would make nationals.
  22. How anyone who lives in the country cannot be humbled and show their respects is beyond me. Regardless of your political or religious view, in fact even moreso because of them as it was their sacrifice that enabled people to express them.

    Band Aid 30

A band aid where are they now 30 years on would make good reading Number 7 bono. Still recording with U2, the poverty activist is now said to be worth £517m after investing in Facebook. Everyday he says to himself tonight thank god it's me instead of you.
  24. Pochetino for one. The bloke is a clown though, spurs should get shot of him.
