  1. No mate, they don't have sports bars in Marrakech, 'marocko' you didn't research your holiday very well did you.
  2. Do you think any chairman at any club cares what ten year olds will be doing in 70 years time? And why do kids for a quid? We've sold 28,000 tickets at top whack for every game this season, why slash them to sell a maximum of 4,000 more for less revenue than we would have at full price? Again i'm not saying i agree with it, but why from a revenue generating perspective does it make any sense to do it?
  3. Wasnt this the paper we dismissed as lying bullsh*tters making things up when they linked Osvaldo with a loan move to Juventus on monday?
  4. I hope so, I'd still rather Leeds than be a Man United, Chelsea etc or even worse a Liverpool as that is what his uncle up here is determined to make him.
  5. Perhaps, but the fact remains if over the season we sell around 90% of capacity at the higher price over the season the club will feel that the pricing was just about right. I'm not saying it is or I agree with it but from the business and income perspective that is how they'll look at it. Saints aren't alone by the way, man United and City have both been advertising on radio round here for tickets to their lower category games, Leeds territory!
  6. Our prices are pretty much in line with everyone else in the league. When you consider the investment in the squad over the last two years I'm not really sure what people are complaining about. http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2013/jun/19/premier-league-ticket-prices-club-charge-the-most
  7. They haven't though have they. If they are selling 90% of tickets at the highest price possible then it suggests that actually they've got the price spot on.
  8. So people want investment the side and multimillion pound signings, good football, challenging at the top of the premier league all at championship prices? The fact we selling around 90% of tickets at the high price means the club have got the pricing policy bang on doesn't it?
  9. You Arabs are a couple of years behind pal, it's all about BYOD and SDN this year.still I'm sure you'll find that out on the golf course.
  10. The were much lower in the championship and more didn't come.
  11. Hilariously that was one of his points of evidence he used to justify expansion, that we got that many in a relegation battle, just think how many we could get if we had investment in the squad and were challenging at the top of the table. Well there's your answer MLG, about 3000 less.
  12. I don't buy the price issue fully. In the championship when we used to get 22,000 lots of people claimed then that it was the weather, surprise great aunties birthday parties, school holidays, christening, train issues and road works that prevented them going. Well we seem to have found an extra 7,000 or so every week since then who don't have any of those things going on and it's considerably more expensive now than it was then.
  13. Which is one of the reasons why I hate seeing so many divs in fancy dress and facepaints.

  15. You missed the boat Jamie, it had all gone mainstream by then.
  16. They aren't on there but two of my personal hates are deep dive and share of wallet.
  17. Both, we are doing very well, better than we hoped, but people still aren't coming.
  18. You see I have a bit of dilemma with my boy. Naturally I want him to grow up a Saints fan but it isn't our local team now, that is now Leeds. His grandad is a Leeds fan as are most of the kids in our road so he's surrounded by them. I won't have a problem with him being a Leeds fan as I'm with you on pride in the area and also a big part of football for me is going with your mates and the people you meet through it, there is nothing like meeting up with the lads for a few pints before a game but he won't really get that if he's a Saints fan, but I'd still be a bit disappointed if he doesnt support Saints when he's old enough.
  19. My view exactly. If I could only go to one game a season it'd be one which I thought saints would win, or at least had a good chance of. I go to see saints to see us score, win and play well, I've no interest in watching the other team or players or being gallant losers against a big club. One of the things that really got under my skin was the excitement of so called saints fans before we played Man United in the FA cup when we were in l1. The amount of people who claimed to be saints fans but never go to games who were badgering me to get tickets for them and updating their Facebook status with how exited they were to have got Man United tickets drove me mad.
  20. What people going to do if get in the champions league? The ground willl be virtually empty for those games wont it?
  21. Being a wacky kind of guy i love to keep people guessing!! Although we all know the answer to this, selling beer at £3.10 a pint means they will usually fill 90% of the available space on a weekend, however if they cut prices to £1 then they'd easily get another 200 punters through the door and would need to expand. Or maybe they could introduce the briliant dynamic pricing module of changing the price of beer depending on how busy it is, for example 50p a pint if it's quite and if it gets busy put the prices up, if it's full punters could expect to pay up to £38 a pint.
  22. It looks like its us that's in for a major form of torture instead then.
  23. I saw Gaston in Yates, every time he ordered a drink he gave it away. PMSL
  24. I saw Guly trying to get into Flares but he kept on missing the entrance PMSL.
  25. I had him down as a joiners sort of guy.
