The three signings we've made who are 'really great' 'very promising' and 'clearly able' haven't in fact improved anything at all because you still don't expect us to achieve your 'realistic target' so Cortese has spent £35m to go from to not achieving your 'realistic target' to still not achieving your 'realistic target'. But hey, we'll finish about 13th though so it doesn't matter anyway, or something.

I fully agree with that. We are exactly where I predicted we'd be and I'm delighted with that however the OP makes a valid point. Who long will Cortese allow the run to go on for? I'm pretty sure he'd have expected to do better than we have recently.

Well considering last season we won 2 of those games and drew another and have invested £35m since then I would suggest Cortese would have expected to improve on that, wouldn't you?
