  1. VJW you are getting the clues, well done 👍
  2. pretty much all transfers are paid over the period of the contract.
  3. mine too, been all over it many times, it's wonderful. The train system pisses all over ours. €50 for a train from Milan to Rome, (my boss lives in Milan) when i told him a standard train from Leeds to London was £260 if you need to be in london before 9.30am he almost spat his tea out.
  4. Yeah but come on if you played for Napoli you'd live down the Amalfi coast which is simply stunning.
  5. yet another coincidence FS. So many of them.
  6. it's all here Nick. We've even named the person this time something which we've often been criticised for not doing.
  7. it was brilliant when threatened to knock out that Steve Jones bellend live on kids TV though 🤣
  8. Yep he was apparently working on his strength training back here. Load of bollocks. He’s clearly fucked and will likely never play again at a decent level.
  9. I was one of those rare species who saw him play for us. He certainly didn’t look injured when he went off which to me suggests the guy is fucked
  10. He was a couple of weeks away after a week of preseason 🤣
  11. COT were on the case with this one
  12. shouldn't have bought that keyring then you have afford another pint.
  13. he blocked me years ago because i reminded him how he tweeted Saints weren't interested in Charlie Austin. He signed the next day.
  14. I agree, they were nothing like the Beatles that's all just a lazy sterotype because a few comments were made when they came out about being bigger than them etc. Noel has said many times the Stone Roses were his influence without them Oasis would never have existed. The first two albums and the Masterplan were 3 outstanding albums which stand up to anyone, the rest are a mixed bag, great songs on some of them but to be fair how many bands have turned our album after album which would make a lot of people top 25? Love him or hate Liam is a very good front man, he's got massive charisma and presence people think he's a bit of a knob and i can see why but if you see him interviewed and look beyond the front man/fake hard man front that's all for the cameras he's quite a down to earth and funny guy.
  15. Noel is right. It wasn't just about them they hit the top at a time when things in the UK were pretty good. It was cool to be British, we had great music, hosting Euro 96, London was a fashionable city for the first time since the 60s, we had great night clubs, fashion, we'd come out of the shit of the early 90s with the recession and poll tax and generally there was an optimism. I remember it being a brilliant time to be young. Compare that to now when i dont think there could be a worse time since kids were forced to go up chimneys and work in factories. As for Oasis themselves saw them first at Bournemouth, possibly might have been the same gig as you, IIRC Blur played in Bournemouth the same night. Did Maine Road same year as Knebworth with a load of DEF yoof, several other times in the late 90s then a few more times in the 00s, Bournemouth again where Liam seemed ill, his voiced was crap and was having coughing fits between songs, finally Slane Castle in Ireland, weekend in Dublin with the boyz, supported by Kasabian and the Prodigy which was amazing and probably the best gig i've been too. Never seen so many ruined people on one place though, some of them barely able to walk even before Kasabian were on stage.
  16. wondered why i'd not see that yank bird gobbing off on twitter for a while
  17. Which other premier league club would he get into? He'd struggle to even be second choice at 2/3s of them i'd say. Which other top half championship club does he get into? Whilst being one of our highest earners for the last few years he's made 30 appearances for us since the start of 2021/22 season and now in his ninth season only 131 ever. There is a reason for that.
  18. How about Wade Elliott, Darren Anderson or Sam Vokes? Top flight experience and that all important quality of being Saints fans
  19. Our keeper situation is a debacle. Of our two fit keepers One of them is shit and the other is so shit when our first choice keeper got injured he went from being second choice to second choice 🤣🤣🤣
  20. Thoughts? Mixed views for me. This is probably my stone roses moment. When they reformed I was desperate for a ticket as I was a little bit too young first time round and by the time they’d sorted their shit out for the second coming album their moment had gone. I remember quite few people who’d been there in the early days didn’t bother as they had the view of been there when it mattered. Same for me with Oasis, saw them plenty of times in the 90s and 00s so not over fussed about seeing them now. (At the moment) However whilst they weren’t the greatest musicians or songwriters in the world without doubt, like the Stone Roses before them mean an awful lot to people of a certain age group. Definitely along with Blur, Pulp, Shed Seven, the verve, Suede were the soundtrack to my teenager years. Come ticket sale day though wonder if I’ll be online like a lot of others.
  21. He owes me about 20, too arrogant to do it though.
  22. with a CV like that who wouldn't be proud?
  23. i can neither confirm or deny your comment as loose lips sink ships
  24. as the old saying goes "say what you see"
  25. @tdmickey3 now thinks innocent people getting stabbed is funny. Proper wierdo
