  1. I agree with you. It's an absolute disgrace. Why should people be discrimated against because they choose not to marry. Or in some cases are so ugly, miserable, paranoid and pathetic they can't either get or keep a partner so are doomed to a life of singledoom. It's disgusting non married people are discrimated against in such a way.
  2. To be fair to Henderson he's started to look a much better player recently, got some of his Sunderland form back. Don't be fooled by the Talksport people say he's sh it so he must be bandwagon.
  3. I'm not one for overstating our players ability ala the 'Kelvin for England' brigade whilst in L1, but I wonder if Alex Ferguson might take a look at Schniderlin as a long term successor in the Carrick role.
  4. You know what, there is probably some truth in that. If people had abit more backbone and weren't so Lilly liveried being offended every 30 seconds then this country would be a lot better place. That the trouble, no ones got any minerals anymore and have to pander to every whim.
  5. Being gay isn't against the law, in fact so all encompassing is our society we invented a new type of partnership specifically for gay people to celebrate their relationships, we gave them equal rights as marriage for this type if relationship, but that wasn't good enough. I applaud the arrangement of civil relationships and I would suggest that in a day when marriage is not considered the binding arrangement it was with almost half ending in divorce civil relationships were a modern and more appealing alternative. Afterall, don't people often say that religion has no place in a modern society and the marriage arrangement was fundementally a religious arrangement.
  6. If he was that sort of bloke he'd have joined Tottenham when he had the chance.
  7. it's very clever from Cortese though. Agree to the meeting a few days before MLT's Q&A where he knows he'd be asked probing questions on the subject. Cortese then gets to cancel the meeting blaming Matt, MLT looks like the bad guy and Cortese can say he was happy to sort out their issues but MLT messed it up, regardless of if he had any intention of doing so or not. THe fans blame MLT and NC is internet peoples friend again. A masterstroke in PR from Cortese and very clever.
  8. Course i am Jamie, you plank.
  9. It's also possible to feel discriminated against when you aren't being, no?
  10. "Most of the people we know refer to us as ‘married’, they talk about having attended our ‘wedding’. We don’t though. We never have" So most people think of them as married, they have the same legal rights as married people, people attended their wedding. I cant see the difference.
  11. "that the same legal rights were granted to them as married couples." So it's exactly the same. No reason at all to think they are discriminated against.
  12. Answer the question. How are civil partnerships not equal to marriage? In whose eyes?
  13. maybe he's got a point.
  14. I think you'll find i've always championed equal rights and being proud of what you are.
  15. How are civil partnerships not equal to marriage? I did mean choice, i demand the chance to be able to have a civil partnership or a marriage.
  16. They do have equal rights. The government is hetrophobic as straight people want the choice between a marriage and a civil partnership. If one person feel discriminated against in our open and free society then that is one too many. I demand chance.
  17. She'd have loved it. I would automatically have been better at helping her chose shoes and handbags.
  18. This couple had a reason and I'm sure they aren't the only ones. Only allowing gay people civil partnerships is a disgrace and hetrophobic. I'd never have got married if I could have had a civil partnership instead and I demand equality.
  19. Not according to the the other report linked by The9. Who to believe?!!!
  20. ask this couple if it's a laughing matter. This is a serious point. Straight people should be allowed civil partnerships like gays can have marriages. It's about choices. Why should straight people be discriminated against? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-11625835
  21. Our average % full is even lower than tiny Evertons and one of the lowest in the league. MLG please report to the forum and tell us how this cant be true.
  22. gets what wrong? not sure what your on about fella.
  23. and you hate it so shouldnt you be telling him to avoid going into it as you'll only save yourself a whole world of pain in the future?
  24. When are they going to annouce civil partnerships can now be allowed for straight people?
