  1. shut up Chesney, you stick to wrestling in your living room with your boyfriend in your dressing gowns.
  2. we struggle to sell the cheaper tickets for lots of games now colin, Frank is on about having 25,000 more of them. Brilliant idea isn't it.
  3. If they stuck by the team when they were doing badly then no. People support teams for all sorts of reason if it was because of the FA Cup final then great, real fans are there in bad times as well as good though. Where are the ones that went to the 2003 cup run when we had the begging bowl out and fans were urged to turn out for the Burnley game, every penny counted then, only about 22,000 Saints fans could be arsed to put their hand in their pocket then, when the club needed them and times were bad. It's easy to be a fan when times are good, the ones that come along now but didn't bother in the bad times are premier league consumers, not Saints fans. I dont understand why people are struggling to understand the concept.
  4. Tell us about your Easy jet pricing model Frank. I got that one. Remind us of it.......
  5. so we already have a version of Franks German model and we still cant sell 32,000 ticket every week. Interestingly the areas often empty when we dont sell out are behind the goal and in the corners, the cheaper areas. this idea looks more ridiculous by the second.
  6. There you go again. Anyway, i dont want to engage in sensbile debate because clearly my idea of doing what Spurs & Arsenal have done is idiotic. Why wait and see if we have demand which means we need to expand when we can spend £40m now and hope to sell the tickets at a third of the price they are currently set at? i'm just amazed no one else has taken up this genius idea.
  7. Stop getting aroused.
  8. f*ck knows mate. Frank seems to think if he mentions Germany enough times on ones thread it'll change everyones mind. Then he claims that reducing ticket prices to a 1/3 of the current price isn't slashing prices and he's come up with no way of stopping existing match going fans hoovering up all the cheap ones. I'm just surprised no one has mentioned the easyjet pricing model that was so popular a few months back, you knwo the one. It costs you £10 to get into the ground, but another £15 if you want to have a seat where you can see the pitch, £8 for a p*ss and £7.24 for the premium half time refreshment queues. and dont even get me started on dynamic pricing. F*ck it, lets just build it and see what happens, we all know we need it, we've got more fans than Everton.
  9. Little tip on that. I'm not sure if you'll get this or not but, after my first grading and 3 hours of it the assessor then said "right, now everyone do 100 press ups and 200 sit ups". As you can imagine much to my dispair i wondered if i'd get more than a few out after 3 hours of it. However they dont expect you to do them all, it's that you dont give up and keep going and trying until they stay stop, ie that if you were fighting for your life you wouldn't just lay on the floor saying i'm too knackered and give in. I'm not sure if it's true but i was told they have failed people in the past because they've quit during that, so be warned! Good luck though, it's real buzz when you pass.
  10. and we have no demand at the moment. we dont have a waiting list. We dont even filll the stadium we have for a lot of games. When we do then we can expand otherwise talk about building 25,000 more seats and then slashing prices to sell them by hoping to attract new fans is utterly ridiculous.
  11. You need to get them along!
  12. my favourite is fighting off multiple attackers, 15 seconds on each, 6 people, destroyed by the end of it. Keep moving, keep fighting. FACT.
  13. An excellent tactic sir. So that one may walk in peace.
  14. It's easy to support a team when they are doing well, breaking trasfer records, wining most weeks or playing top teams and playing good football. It's not so easy when they crap and are losing every week to equally as crap teams and signing crap players. Some fans are only interested in one of those two scenarios, those are the plastics. It's not difficult really is it.
  15. and the reason existing fans aleady going wont snap these tickets up thus leaving their, more expensive, seats empty is?.........
  16. Real fans were the ones who went in L1 and during the period running to admin. Plastics are the ones who f*cked off in 2005 and are coming back now and might have turned out for the big games in between. HTH.
  17. probably because i live far enough from Manchester i can admire it from a far and not have to put up with the attention seeking self publicists trumpeting their own agendas and spouting their bullsh it every five minutes.
  18. What on earth are you talking about?
  19. I'm not sure whats so funny about that. It's only 10 Hot dogs between him and his boy all eaten within the space of two hours. It's perfectly normal to stuff your face with that much food in that much time!
  20. No. Still makes no sense.
  21. I believe Spurs have a waiting list of around 15,000 for season tickets as well as a tired membership scheme where you pay xxx amount simply for the right to be able buy tickets for gold, silver or bronze games. At least I think that's how it works. Either way their waiting list and membership scheme prove they need a bigger stadium, the fact we don't have one proves we don't.
  22. Because demands outstripped supply at Highbury. You know, putting it simply they filled their ground week in week out for years and they had compelling evidence they could fill a bigger stadium without spending millions and millions and millions and then reducing prices to a third of what they are now to sell them. Not difficult is it.
