  1. anyone on 29 or 30 points is fairly safe. They will only need another 8 or 9 points to be safe. Can you really see WIgan, QPR, Reading & Villa getting 16-17 points (QPR need 21) from their last 12 games, especially as they all play each other as well.
  2. We did alright against Stoke
  3. What did he say that makes him an idiot? Please explain or feel free to call Nick up on it on here http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/fb_mb.php
  4. I didn't hear the interview but having just asked Nick he said that he simply said what most fans think, that Adkins was loved, the timing was strange and the fans will give MP a chance. Not quite sure what Bensfcno1 is calling him an idiot for, sounds fair enough.
  5. Shocking wasn't it. It ruined my matchday experience.
  6. I went to see Paloma Faith on tuesday night, she was very good actually and also quite funny, which surprised me.
  7. that is pretty horiffic too. And little fat kids stuffing their faces. Do their parents have no sense of responsibility. They take the kid to watch sportmen and fine athletes then let them gorge their fat little faces on junk food. Shameful stuff.
  8. It was just predictable, not funny and boring. I expect more from you TBH. Why on earth would i wear a tight white t-shirt to the cinema? I am neither homosexual or a fake tan, parrot head pretend body builder.
  9. Strawberry Jam. FACT
  10. I always liked Carrick even when he was at West Ham, classy player who would have had 50 or 60 caps if he'd been Italian or French. If United came in for him there is nothing we can do but wish him luck, who wouldn;t want to play for them? We've just got to enjoy him while we can and if he does go onto better things then Man U would probably be the club i'd like him to go to.
  11. Im sure the approval of a fat, drunken student who goes to matches dressed at the honey monster is of the upmost importance to him.
  12. cant see beyond a Reading win on that one i'm afraid. I'd rather they go down than Wigan.
  13. I'd like to see fans in the family area playing the recorder and the triangle. I think this will not only educate them as they were the instrument of choice for the discerning minor when i was an under 8 but also provide some much needed atmosphere in the chapel area. 3,000 6 years olds playing "your support is f*cking sh*t" and "you're going home in a hampshire ambulance" on the triange and recorder with their dads singing along would strike fear into the hearts of most visiting fans and prove we have an excellent youth policy when it comes to generating atmosphere. It's a yes from me for this.
  14. Thank god i missed that, how utterly embarassing.
  15. How cringeworthy was the Yaya Toure song? Up there with Hulls 'mauled by the tigers' IMO.
  16. No Jamie, it was because the linesman couldn't keep up. All quick players have the same problem FFS
  17. Why didn't he just flag him offside if he couldn't keep up, like they did with Papa Waigo?
  18. If Man U beat them as expected and Reading beat Wigan at the Madjeski then they come to us 10 points from safety, theyll need 10 points due to their goal difference, with 11 to play. If they don't beat us they are as good as down.
  19. :this is true its a common problem for quick players. No wonder Theo Walcott is caught offside 20 times a game, the same reason. It's also ruining the career of Gareth Bale as he suffers from being too quick for the linesman as well and is never offside but always seems to be so. I feel sorry for all these quick players that have so much pace and ability that are regularly peanalised by linesman who can't keep up with them, it's ruining the game.
  20. Don't forget he also signed that experienced and proven defensive stalwart Ben Haim.
  21. It's certainly up there. People say the 4-0 v spurs but as has been said they were a midtable side in those days. The Arsenal 3-2 win will take some beating as that was a great Arsenal side with the likes of Berkamp, Henry, Pires, Viera and Campell in their prime and we also had to come back from a goal down to win that one. Difficult to choose between yesterday and that.
  22. Of course, that Friday night game.
  23. It was Rodney Wallace.
  24. Weren't Liverpool champions in the 89/90 season when we battered them 4-1? Still the best performance I've ever seen by a saints team, we were incredible that day.
