  1. A serious post from me for once. My dad has been a season ticket holder for years. 4 years ago he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's his condition has got worse over the time and he is now in a wheelchair, unable to walk, is incontinent and cannot attend matches of indeed do anything without the assistance of a carer. For the last three seasons he has had a season ticket in the disabled area and my sister has gone to games as his carer and has benefited form the disabled discount available. He was moved into a home around a year ago so he can get the specialist care he needs and in truth football is now th only bit of enjoyment he gets. However this season when my brother went to renew the tickets the club have decided he no longer qualifies for a disabled season ticket. The reason? That because he now lives in a care home and his incapacity benefit is paid directly to the home and no longer to him in the clubs eyes he is not disabled and there not elidgable for a disabled ticket. Clearly its impossible for him to sit anywhere else in the ground and unless the club reverse their decision they will be losing a couple of fans next season. IMO this is totally disgusting and disgraceful behaviour from the club and I just wanted to make you aware of how they are treating a lifelong fan and long term season ticket holder. Effectively anyone that lives in a care home is not considered disabled in the eyes of our club. Thanks SFC.
  2. A real statement of intent and has those all important qualities of being young, hungry and therefore guaranteed to improve.
  3. You and your pathetic little crew melted quicker than an ice cube on a sun bed you mug
  4. I seem to remember 'Boro signing massimo Macarone off the back of his performances for Italy in an u21 tournament, that went well.
  5. Excellent news. With only 5 defeats and 21 wins in 41 matches as England manager it looks like business and usual for u21s under Pearce and another win. Well done Psycho.
  6. Again, people only remember their second half performance, they were okay first half and missed a good chance to go 2-0 up. Once we got on top of them they struggled and their confidence was gone, like i said, you could see it draining out of them in some games this season, our game included. The young side will have learnt a lot from this season and will be better for it, as will ours. I think we're a better side than they are though and I still believe both sides lack a real leader.
  7. oh that hurts Tajy, i dont know how i'll ever recover from such a put down. "That's you that is" ouch. Maybe i should get myself at it a bit more like the great posters like yourself and come out with quite genuis comments such as "chelsea and QPR prove that money doesn't mean success" a class of post on another level to many i've seen and that's saying something, quite brilliant and hilarious for so many reason. If i came out with inspired stuff like that then people wont think i'm a clown.
  8. I agree, despite what a lot of our geniuses said on here they were no where near as bad as people made out. The problem was they had lots of young players and no real leader on the pitch, at times you could see the confidence sap out of them during matches. They'll be better for a season together and I'm sure Lambert will spend in the summer. He is a good manager and is doing a rebuilding job there and in sure they'll be better next season.
  9. It does make me laugh seeing our fans like us with all these fanciful players yet dismiss villa, a historically bigger club than us, Chances of signing a similar profile player.
  10. I spent all day in Weatherspoons drinking LAGER wearing a t-shirt with my nickname 'chops' on it, my two fat mates acted loudly and hilariously, well they are 'characters' and they dressed me up as Ali G, which was the as hilarious and original mankini of the early00s. Was a great and memorable day I'm actually off on a stag do next month with several posters from here.
  11. Any place where the average person doesn't dress like theyve been ram raising TK maxx.
  12. Oh the self appointed sheriff of the mboard. Upholder of interesting posts and debate. To be fair your posts are never dull, they always get a laugh from me.
  13. Don't forget the hilarious comedy t-shirts with 'Amsterdam 2013 xxxxx stag' and your nicknames on the back, like '****ger' 'chubby' 'slitty eyes' etc. don't forget to dress the stag up In a hilarious costume, The mankini seems to be both as popular as it is original and hilarious at the moment. You must also find the cheapest, *****st bar you can find, the Dutch Wetherspoons if you will, that does nothing but LAGER and fill it by 11am in the morning, with the 'characters' in your group all being very loud and hilarious.
  14. So boring you were compelled to comment on it.
  15. This coming from the man who on the day Adkins was sacked still insisted the media reporting it before it was officially announced were lying and sh*t stirring.
  16. Lazy, lying scumbag journos now making up lies to cover thier lies. FFS.
  17. She isn't. Attractive yes, but you'd see 30 as good on a night out in decent place.
  18. Bloody hell, even more than I thought. That's the thing with successive promotions though, we've got a lot of players on our books who will not be of premier league standard earning decent money who won't get that sort of payday again.
  19. Yep, I'd agree with that. Hammond, Lee, De Ridder, Sharp, Barnard, Chaplow will all also be on the £10-£15k mark and won't play any part whilst we are in the premier league. That's another £50-£90k a week we could do with losing. We've probably been paying out over £100k a week in wages this season on players that have hardly had a kick, that's not including Forren and Mayuka.
  20. Rather have one good player on £50k a week than that on 8 that don't play!
  21. With promotion bonus and rises I'd hazard a guess that the top 4 are on £10-£15k a week. Remember that Dickson couldn't get a loan move away at the start of the season as the club in question couldn't afford his wages. Richardson and Butterfield were proven championship players so would have joined in championship wages and no doubt got an increase on promotion. Seaborne was said to be on £6k a week when he had his incident, so id put him on about £10k with his promotion increase. I doubt the bottom four are on much though. Even so you're probably taking between £50k-£80k a week for all of them.
  22. this. lazy journalism. It's the obvious story isn't it. Academy player approaching age when he can sign a pro contract so they assume he'll do it at the club he's at. Lazy, lying scumbag journos.
  23. This signing is a real statement of intent.
