  1. Stoke put the ball into the area a lot, Davis rarely leaves his line. We could ship a shedload on saturday as we dont have a keeper who can command the area.
  2. Really? One point against a team woefully out of form. There have been plenty of other times recently when the game has been going against us and no one on the pitch has taken responsibility. In fact you could say 3 of our last 4 games before Fulham were like that.
  3. I was listening to the Villa v Spurs games yesterday and the commentators mentioned several times that whilst Villa have a talented squad of players they have no leader on the pitch or any experienece players their young squad can look to when things are going against them and lift them. You can draw similar parrallels with us, how many times this season when we've been struggling and things haven't been going our way have we had anyone on the pitch lift the side. Our biggest problem is whilst we have some talented players they are learning, our manager is also learning and they don't have anyone to learn from and haveto do it all whilst in a relegation battle, so unfortunately it's going to be by learning by their mistakes and as they go along. I wonder if those people telling us we didn't need premier league experience during the summer have now changed their minds? And no, I dont mean Kieran Dyer FFS
  4. It's all part of the anti Saints agenda the BBC has.
  5. Prehaps it was a very good penalty but also one of the best attempts by a goalkeeper to save one?

Even Le Fondre has scored a few this season playing in a terrible team and he isn't as good as Billy. FFS
  7. It does seem strange to lose Lallana and then shift our other most creative player into a position where he is less effective so having two positional changes rather than just one. Why not keep Ramirez where is he is best and simply get Guly, Rodriguez or Mayuka to put a shift in on the left, even if they are not overly effective as long as they are steady and at least we've got our best available players playing in their best positions.
  8. Should be a priority IMO.
  9. I'm not sure why you're surprised. It was only 8 months ago this forum told us Kelvin Davis should be the England goalkeeper.

He's a totally different sort of player, he is a 6 yard box goal poacher. He won't be any good to us in games where we don't get a lot of Possesion or need him as an outlet but what he is ideal for is when we are chasing a game and need a goal, as a sub. In all honesty to do think he'd have made less of an impact than Mayuka and Rodriguez have so far in their time here?
  11. Its a bit wierd, that's all. Of the two threads I've read your contributors too since I logged on one was a patronising correction of a spelling mistake on a player and the other was correcting people about our goal today, when they hadnt seen it properly. It must be great being you.
  12. Does it give your life meaning by spending boxing day correcting people on a football forum?
  13. That hurt. I don't know how I'll ever recover from such an attack. I actually don't mind Guly actually, he is just not the man to bring in for the sole reason of defending set pieces, so pipe down sunshine.
  14. We will lose and probably quite heavily. They'll bully us out of the game.
  15. Because he defends them really well doesn't he, like at Fratton Park.

Most of our team were unproven in the premier league so that doesn't stack up. seems odd, Sharp was massive in getting us promoted and looked good in preseason.
  21. What would an ex Rugby player know about how a Uruguyan playing in Italys ability to play in England?

I've never understood the whole building up of Lee. He was the man of the moment when he joined because he scored a decent goal and ran around a lot.he then got injured and a number of people claiming he was going to be a great player based on a couple of energetic performances against lower mid table championship sides. I certainly didn't see anything to convince me he was going to be the top class premier league player many on here claimed he was going to be.
