Most people were surprised and disapointed to see him be allowed to go. He wouldn't have started for us but would have been a great option to have off the bench when we've needed a goal.
-
He has been superb today, we've made a mistake letting him go. Would have been ideal recently in tight games where we've needed a goal to come on with 20 minutes to go.

A good signing but hardly our best ever. Compare him to Case, kK, Eklund, Lambert, Shilton, Wright, Flower, Osgood, Niemi, etc. a good signing at the time, but our best ever? Not even in our top 20 IMO.

True middle aged men are fat, scruffy, divorced after their wives left them because they are failures with no ambition or pride in themselves or still single because they are faliures who simply cant hold down a realtionship. They usually use Internet dating websites Due to the fact no one in the real world will spend any time with them. They will try to either dress far too young for their years and physique from primark or dress like a 60 year old man in ill fitting casual gear from Burtons. they are generally stupid and unambitious, resigned to the cards dealt them but secretly desiring but never able to strive for more.

What's Keiran Dyer up to these days?! -
Merry Xmas mongboarders. End of the day we are all on the same side, even if most of you are cringeworthy mugs that are disasters of human beings. I love you all in your own way, from those I'd happily meet for a beer (you know who you are) to those that are utter mongs (if you don't know who you are I'm sure I've told you). Just remember if I've taken the p*ss out of you this year, it's always been in the way of an older brother mocking his fat, spotty, embarassing 13 year old brother who he wishes was related to someone else, but can't help but love and ruffle their hair like in a patronising yet loveable way. Merry Xmas and up the saints.

Oh is that what I do?!! Yes, yes, that's it, exactly that, have you been stalking me?!! You've got me bang on with that!
-
Yes, that's what it is, thank you, you've got me spot on!!! I spent the whole relay on Saturday filled with envy at those confident, hilarious chaps running round the pitch in fancy dress wishing I was like them. I felt so jealous of their charisma I couldn't even bring myself to LOL at them like Apparantly everyone round me was. Instead going home early, back to my bedsit to curse the bad hand I'd be dealt in life and wish I was able to join in the fun. Or maybe myself and those that find attention seeking, dressing up and look at me type behaviour a little sad don't need to prove we've got personalities by public shows of how wacky we are? Let your amateur psychology chew over those scenarios.

On the 'saints best ever signing' thread a few of us mentioned Jimmy Case, for this very reason. An experienced, season pro who was able to help the young players along and was a real leader on the pitch and in the dressing room as well as being ble to protect them on the pitch and learm from him. Exactly what we could do with now. Yet for some this seems to equate to blowing millions on Kieran Dyer. -
Yep I agree. People getting excited about a picture someone posts or something someone says, when the person posting it probably doesn't even know the one getting excited exists and if they were ever to meet them, would probably think they were a helmet anyway.

Isnt it amusing how whenever anyone mentions signing players with premier league experience there is always someone who trots out the usua ames of a number of failed or injury prone, past it players, like they are the only players in the whole country with premier league experience. -
A fascinating take on events. Thanks Andy.

If you need to ask, you ain't one.

Holister and Abercrombie and Fitch is just as bad.

I'm a plumber! When would you like me and my mate to come over and take a look?! PM me your address and I'll arrange it.
-
No. Slightly irked is more like it.
-
I don't dispute it, just merely pointing out a scenario as to why in some cases, those pansies rolling around on the floor, might actually have a legitimate reason.
-
I do love how people are using finding the relay funny as some sort of badge of honour to prove they are not miserable.
-
I love this arguement, you can't compare the two at all. Totally different types of tackles and sports. Im not condoning the ones that dive, however If an 11 stone striker running almoat as fast as an Olympic sprinter, is clattered by a 15 stone 6 foot 3 centre half built like a brick sh*t house it's going to hurt and if it's even slightly mistimed it's going to cause them some damage.

Not seem many posts commenting on it, most people are just slagging off Fergie. Yes, he was a bit over the top, I said as much in my OP on this thread. I expect most managers would react angrily in similar circumstances. Would you?

Ahh, brilliant. The old football is played by pansies, Rugby, now that's a real mans game argument.
