  1. X-Actly. I blame Simon Cowell for gay marriages.
  2. Dont disagree with that Tokes and sums up the me first, selfish, arrogant way that society has become, everyone wanting their cake and eating it.
  3. Not in an ideal world, in your world. You said earlier in your world gays and non gays have equal rights, so if non gays are not allowed civil partnerships then that is not equal rights and non gays will be being discrimated against.
  4. With the right signings top half and a good crack at the cups (if we take them seriously). IMO.
  5. I wont be renewing, due to not being able to get to many games next season. Shame as i think next year will be a cracker.
  6. yeah, it is a bit of a p*ss take to be honest, i understand the "Admin fee" its pretty standard, but maybe they could have done it per order. It certainly doesnt cost £150 to set up a DD. althought to justify it in your mind it's "only" £15 a month on top of your season ticket spread over 10 months, or 50p a day, which represents tremendous value to see a young, vibrant exciting team, lead by one of the top young managers in Europe, the greatest chairman whoever lived at the helm and the man who once wrote to coaching manual for England on the transfer committee.
  7. Religious institutions should not have to make that decision, for a gay person to want the church to bless their wedding is hypocritical. In interest or equality that you are in favour of, do you agree that the bill should only be passed if one allowing hetros to have civil partnerships is also passed?
  8. its a much better installlment plan though, so that'll help people like yourself with kids. Payments over 10 months rather than 5 this year. All in all, they've got it pretty spot on.
  9. read the thread and you'll see that yet again, ive praised the chairman. dont let that stop you peddling the myth though.
  10. I have no problem with them being allowed to marry by law provided hetrosexual couples are allowed civil patnerships. Do you agree with this? Presumably if this bill is passed a lot of them will want to marry in churches, so its the hypocrisy i have a problem with. Maybe you should ask your friends my question.
  11. as a guide my first season ticket when we moved to SMS was £450. 12 years on its only £154 more in a similar area. Pretty fair to be honest. Well done Cortese for fair prices released in a timely fashion.
  12. last year you were whinging that there was no info so you didnt know how much to save. No please some people.
  13. True. no early bird discounts FFS. Disgusting. The club miking it's fans dry again FFS
  14. No, it means we dont get the annual whinging about when they are coming out threads that i enjoy every summer.
  15. how do you know? I might have wanted a civil partnership but due to DISCRIMINATION i wasnt' allowed one. Have you asked your gay friends why they want the blessing of a religion that condemns them?
  16. I'm not playing devils advocate, im stating that if they were a true follower of the religion they wouldn't act on their gay urges and if they were acting on them then they would't want the blessing of a religion that condemns them. Some people whilst stamping their feet and banging the "it's my right" drum seem to ignore this.
  17. Do they? I dont know any gay people that care and see my point above about gays and religion. IN my case I wanted a civil partnership actually but i wasn't allowed one.
  18. Why are they out so early FFS?
  19. Um Pahars will be able to help you, he is always banging on about his cricket club needing players, drop him a PM. With the added bonus of you'll get to meet a failed fan on the boarder and he can bore you with this stories about the heady days when his name was regularly in the echo.
  20. Funnily enough none of the gay people i know give a toss about it, they dont care, so i think it's more other people deciding for them what they want. If it's that big a deal about adultery why dont they simple ammend the the differences in what allows them to get divorced so it's the same as marriage? And what about hetrosexual peoples right to have a civil partnership is they want on? Although of course if they want to get married in a church or a mosque then is begs the question as to why. The bible and quran condemns homosexuality so why would they want to get married in a religious building which doesn't approve of their way of life? The other key thing is if they were truely a member of that religion and followed it's teachings then they wouldn't act of their gay urges as they would know that as practiser of that faith then their actions are not approved of. If they chose to act on them then clearly they are not a true follower of that faith so with that wishy washy approach surely having the blessing of their religion would mean little to them.
  21. Yep married, your point is?
  22. Not really twisting it is it.
  23. Cue Middle aged Spainish based Saints fans clad in their Saints shirts stalking all local airports.
  24. On the subject of rumours, who is going to Spain for their holidays this summer? You might want to look out for a certain south coast soccer ball club there for a couple of weeks sharing your hotel, before a few days in Austria. Just saying......
  25. Don't understand why they want it personally.
