  1. Hello everyone.
  2. There is nothng the Americans love more than a good old game of Soccerball.
  3. It's no where near as interesting as the how the table would look if only english players had scored thread. That one was riveting.
  4. Proof? Where is the Proof?!!!
  5. How do you explain the form in the last 6 which is relegation form? I thought we'd adapted to the premier league?
  6. We put in some very good performances in the first ten games Man U, Man City, Villa and also some poor ones and didn't get many points. This whilst our season saviours were not playing and we still had the adapting to the premier league card to play. Now with a fully fit squad and having adapted to the premier league we've put in some decent performances, some poor ones and not got many results, we may be more solid but we're scoring less. Our recent form proves my point, as I have maintained all season, that this squad isn't a top half one. I know you like argue that it is and if we ignore the first ten games, the last 6, the QPR game, the Sunderland game and the Newcastle and Wigan away ones and we're as good as Everton across the rest, but unfortunately the league table doesn't work like mboards.
  7. Also don't forget the saviours of our season or at least they were around November time, Cork and Shaw, didn't feature in those early games but did in the latter.
  8. Read the post in its entirity and stop being a helmet if that's possible. Our form wasn't good at the start of the season and it isn't good now. By highlighting that we've in fact scored less goals now than at the start of the season it only reinforces my point that this squad isn't good enough for the top half as some parts of our game have been worse than at the start of the season when the 'adapting to the premier league' card was played, by yourself amongst others, so yes, you've proved my point.
  9. So on that score we've done a lot worse recently without having the 'adapting to the premier league' excuse. Thanks for proving my point,
  10. Not that different. Some good performances, some crap ones and not many points or goals.
  11. I wouldn't go that far. We've got a decent first XI but little quality depth beneath that. A lot of people got very excited about our decent run of form a month or so ago and thought that a top half finish was inevitable. The reality is for us to finish top half we would need all of our first XI to stay fit and in form for the entire season, never going to happen. People point to our poor start and use the adapting to the premier league excuse for this, yet we've only taken 4 points from our last 6 games, so our recent form is only a bit better than when we were supposedly adapting to the premier league. We've played some good stuff at times this season but we need some quality additions in almost every position if we're going to push into the top half.
  12. We were one set of results going against us from finishing 17th, or one set of results going for us from finishing 10th. The reality is we finished in the right place and are still someway short of a top half side. I'm not really quite sure how people can claim we are so much better than the table says we are.
  13. Or could it be its where most of the dullards sit.
  14. FFS Rylan, if you can't bet that bit right how can we trust he rest of your post?
  15. How did I guess you'd sit in the centre of the kingsland?
  16. That all seems reasonable especially the bit of about the stadium and good to see Cortese has a sensible, measured approach to it which is what you'd expect from an outstanding chairman and successful banker who knows what he is doing.
  17. And he looks like a c+ck in that baseball cap.
  18. Agreed.
  19. Yet more example of the Daily Fail (LMFAO) and its anti Saints agenda, everyone associated with this so called newspaper really is scum http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2191156/Southampton-unearth-new-star-James-Ward-Prowse.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2060821/After-Walcott-Bale-Oxlade-Chamberlain-Southampton-aiming-create-new-golden-generation-England.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2045312/Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain-heads-list-Southampton-graduates.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2255232/Arsene-Wenger-praises-Southamptons-youth-set-up.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2255691/Southampton-longer-need-selling-club.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2255851/Luke-Shaw-scouting-report-How-did-Southampton-starlet-fare-suitor-Wenger.html
  20. Thy have a fantastic man manager in Sam Allerdyce and two players of real quality in Andy Carroll and James Collins as well as the leadership of Kevin Nolan. HTH
  21. It isn't called that at all. It's the quite hilarious nickname given to it by people like yourself
  22. I don't consider it a negative article though, he's stating the FACT that Cortese used the media as a tool to get what he wanted. Something this forum has lambasted Redknappp for. When Vptese does it he's a great guy who loves the club, anyone else they are wan*ers using their mates in the media. Regardless of who the journalist is I don't se how anyone can say what he has said is wrong.
  23. Is he criticising him for not being a billionaire or is it More holding the owners of SFC to ransom by media using the threats of everyone walking out to enhance his position? Not having a go at Correse for doing it, it's worked out well for everyone, you even go on to admit that it was a media ploy so well done on arguing against me but actually agreeing with me. Cortese used the media to aid him to get what he wanted, everyone seems to agree on that. However the fact that a journalist you lot don't like has dared to state it means he is a c*ck with an anti saints agenda. You couldn't make it up.
