In the 70s and 80s for some reason it was practice to wear the away kit in the home leg and the home kit in the away leg in European game. So Athletic Bilbao might have worn red and white stripes at the Dell when we played them in the UEFA cup in The early 70s. This is one for Fitzhugh Fella.

A decent person would deny they were speeding when then camera said they were but admit to their crime at the proper time when they did it. It would ease your conscience and enable you to be suitably punished for your offence and it would also alert the police to the faults it their equipment, allowing them to investigate and repair with the potential outcome that it may save lives or serious injury in the future. If someone were to be involved in a serious incident there and you have spoken up then I hope saving 3 points and £60 enables you to sleep at night when you could have prevented it, I'm sure you'll come to the right decision, not just for yourself but for the greater good.

Some people don't seem to be able to *accept* that for gays to have the choice and rights to marry where they want someone else's choices and rights may have to be compromised. How is this fair? I was also interested to see aintforever label Muslims bigots for having a different view point to his. Interesting comment wasn't it.
-
So you can't except their views even if they are different to yours? Instead labelling them bigots because you don't agree with them, yes?
-
Tis is different ground and a very interesting comment, You quite clearly said they were. Please explain.

I am LOLing at all the Reading and someone else fans I work with moaning on their Facebook about how crap they and McDermott are. Only 4 short months after telling me they'd made the best signings of the summer out of all the promotion teams, had the best manager, are loaded and going to finish mid table.
-
Muslims are bigots are they?
-
I'm calm, just firmly stating I don't want to go over the same ground again with someone like you.

I'm looking forward to hearing what Andy would tell an Imam at a mosque what he should do if two gay Muslims want him to bless their mosque wedding. See the post about it a few up.
-
How long until the first legal case when a gay wants to be married in a church that doesn't approve of it. Then the church is accused of discrimation......
-
As usual you missus the point. The discussion with Egg was that in his modern, all encompassing world gays have a right to choose if they want to marry in a church or not, regardless of this is hypocritical. This would means church has to compromise its faith. This discussion has been going on for a page or so and ive no wish to go though it again with someone as thick as you. Read th whole thread if you want to catch up with it.
-
The religion that has to compromise its beliefs in order to allow gays to marry in their buildings Prehaps? Or have to totally missed what this discussion has been about?
-
What on earth are you on about now?
-
So gay people can have the choice, but people can't have the choice to disapprove of something that doesn't sit well with them? Unfortuantely the real world isn't like that, we have to compromise and be realistic at times. All of us do, that is what being part of a modern, all encompassing society is all about isn't it? Or should some people having the choice mean that others have to miss out, be hypocrites or compromise?

They lost at Villa too. Yes they've got some decent home games to come but they look awful, I can't see them winning too many at home either.

I think you'll find my point which hasn't been answered is why would a homosexual claiming to be christian or Muslim want to be married in building of the religion they claim to follow yet does not approve of their practices. You need to stop banging on about what some religions and religious leaders think the ones that they accept gays and concentrate on the ones that don't. Lets move away from christians for somthing neutral to us both so we arent Biased. Let's take Muslims for example, couple of gays claiming to be Muslims go and nip down their local mosque and tell the Imam they want to use the mosque for their big day and him to bless the wedding. What should he tell them?
-
If they follow the faith properly then yes they should give it up or be celibate. I've said before I know of several people who were brought up religious but decided to leave it when they got older as the way they wanted to live their lives prevented them from committing to their religion of birth. And no they didn't go running back to that religion demanding its blessing for their marriage. If they want to pick and chose what they follow and what they don't then they aren't truely following that faith and therefore shouldn't really be too upset that if their faith disapproves of gays then it doesn't bless their wedding. It reslly isn't difficult. The problem with your modern, all encompassing world that you speak of where everyone has as many choices as they want is that it's the world of the selfish and spoilt where everyone can have everything they want. Real life isn't like that, sometimes you have to make decisions you don't want to and have to compromise, otherwise we'd all spend all our time wailing that it's our right and choice to do this that and the other and no one can tell me otherwise. if you follow th religon properly then fine, let you marriage be blessed by it, if you don't, then don't moan if it doesn't work out for you. It's like anything. Also in this type of world someone still has to compromise. Why should religions which has been around for 1000s of years change its core values because political correctness says so and gays are Apparantly not happy with just having civil partnerships, which in reality are no real difference to marriage? Your modern , all encompassing world means they can't be true to their faith if they don't want to bless a gay marriage but feel they have to, how is this right?

Committed, gets stuck in, runs around a bit and screams. He sounds perfect. He'll be a fans favourite before you can say 'get rid of it' and much better than that ponce Schinderlin who just fannies about with it.

You are funny young Andy, so cute, so misty eyed. Earlier On this very thread you demand that religions move with the times, that they are out to date, yet now here you are saying they aren't out of date at all as many Christians don take the bible literally anyway, so which is it? The simple fact is that the bible and the Quran clearly express tht homosexuality is wrong, regardless of if some have moved with the times and accepted gays, or have they? Who knows, it seems to change every day with you! Why would a gay person choose to associate themselves with a religon that didn't approve of them? Why would they demand a blessing in a church or mosque, based on the bible or Quran, books that condemns them?
