You'd know a lot about this subject, what with having a 5 year olds grip on reality.

Good to see that you accept that I was right and you were wrong, yet again.

I remember you giving me a lot of grief for daring to suggest we wouldn't finish 10th. so you didn't take into account that it was entirely possible for this midtable side to have a deep in form like other midtable sides do, you just assumed we'd continue to play really well week in week out, all of our players on top form and not suffer any injuries or losses of from and we wouldn't play as well as we did against Liverpool and Man City every week. Nice one.
-
I thought you said we were finishing 10th?
-
The arrogance that was sweeping this forum a few weeks ago seems to have disappeared with lots of straw clinging replacing it, hoping other teams can do us favours. Those that said we wouldn't finish tenth were lamblasted and abused for daring to suggest we wouldn't romp to a top half finish, with 50 odd points and destroying anyone that got in our way. All those claiming that a win for the teams below us was we better for us than wins for the teams above us are looking pretty daft now as the relegation battle has tightened up. We won't go down, but amusing to see the arrogance of a few weeks ago has all but disappeared.

Danny Fox had his best game for a while.

I'm not sure about this song. It has potential, but I find the use of the word 'sign' slightly innacurate. Do you 'sign' managers? I've never heard this term before. Perhaps should swap 'sign' with 'employed'?

Tottenham 1-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction
Turkish replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Guly should have scored that rebound and I can't believe Fox just let Bale drift past him like that it, it was shocking defending, almost like he wasn't playing. FFS -
Whatever the spazboard, there is nothing like a good old accusation of attention seeking when some precious little flower doesn't like a post.

Well he is young and hungry so improvement is certain.

Bale and Spuds (PMSL) deserve each other, both arrogant c*nts with no respect for anyone but themselves. I've always found Spurs fans totally disrespectful since a game there in 1998. I'd had bought a ticket and prebooked the train but in the run up to the game I had been suffering from the flu. Unfortuantely I had to make the decision that morning that I couldn't go to the game due to sickness. Much to my amazement, despite me being ill and losing around £60 due to being unable to travel there was no minutes applause for me on 8 minutes (my old shirt number) no picture of me on their scoreboards encouraging fans to support my battle against the virus and no words of support from anyone connected at THFC. They have always been arrogant and disrespectful, so no surprise Bale should start to behave is such a way now.

How's it looking this week Nick? We still on for 10th?

Surely people would want Sunderland to win? This would keep Stoke in our sights and we all want to finish as high as possible its a given that we will romp to a midtable finish so best the teams above us lose and the ones below us win.

Oh you were one of them were you?! I'm not surprised you're sulking. -
Join the players on the one leaving Southampton at 4.30 today. First class of course.

The reality is that as a potentially upper midtable club next season who appear to be showing ambition there are a lot fewer options than from a smaller premier league club or Championship one. oves to clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea and City will always happen if those clubs want them but usually it's only the very best that go there. It's making us be more attractive than clubs just below that that are the key. So the likes of Schniderlin and co dont see Everton & Newcastle as a step up career wise. If that is the case and it could well be then there are only really 4-5 clubs in the country who would be able to sign them, who are also looking all across the world at other players too.

Mauricio Pochettino: The Argentine at Southampton with big plans

I agree, but some posters on here hailed it a masterstroke as it would keep our team selection secret and give us an advantage as the opposition wont know our team. -
seems to be a thing of the past as MP has come out and said Shaw is fit. @solentsport: #saintsfc boss Mauricio Pochettino reveals that Luke Shaw has trained all week and is fit to face Spurs tomorrow What do people think of this? Some posters will be surely furious at this as they were indignant that Adkins not revealing injuries was a brilliant tactical move as it would mean clubs would not be sure what our line up was going to be and therefore not be able to prepare for us. However it seems the guy brought in to take us to the next level doesn't subscribe to this view. So, revealing injuries or not, is it now a good or bad thing?
