Exactly. People who are convinced we are going to finish in the top 10 and well clear of relegation seem to be very excited about the team in 18ths result. I don't see how it matters.

The best one of the new type stadiums I've been to is Coventry, for that reason, decent steep banks.
-
You obviously know f*ck all about football. Carroll is a pub player and Jarvis is utter garbage.
-
that's quite amusing for you, a change from your usual boring drivel.
-
FFS Krackers, despite being 25 and a full international you've been told hes not be brought in to play in the first team yet. massive tsk.

De Ridder on the wing, Lee up front.

I didnt see too many people cringing about the one the other day that said we were the rising stars of Europe.

dont knock it, she'd fit in well on here.

A brilliantly well written article from a talented journalist.

He's 26 in July, does this still mean he is young, hungry and guarenteed to improve or should we be worried?

 This reminds me of the time when a few of us were out drinking in augusta with Nick Faldo. I'd just parred the 16th and we decided to go out for a few beers to celebrate his birthday, so after the round we got a taxi into the local Hooters. Nick didn't want anyone to know it was his birthday so he wore rayban glasses and a baseball hat that he found in reception. When we got into Hooters and they asked us for a name, Nick quickly remembered he was wearing Raybans and gave the name "Ray". Anyway, 6 beers later and we'd all picked up on the joke and were telling all the girls in there that our names were all Ray. a few of the girls decided they wanted to come back to our room, i was getting on well with one of these Hooters beauties, my one is almost perfect looking and and it was quite clear she wanted a bit of the old Turkish loving but with too many people about there was no chance of this happening tonight and i ended up giving on of them my number. Two days later i get a call from a withheld number, I'd completely forgetting about our drunken hilarious "Ray" gag a couple of days earlier and this cute American voice says "Hi is that Ray? i wondered if i could pop round to finish off what we started" to which i replied "sorry Princess, no Ray on this number" Only when i hung up did i realise my horrendous error!! Open goal missed

I don't know much about him but only played 18 times for QPR this season. Anyone know why?

Vincent Pericard looked anything but a footballer when he was here on loan Jelle Van Damme has to be the biggest waste of money of the last 10 years. £2.5m, made 6 appearances.
-
His nickname is The Pirate apparently. Why do these Spanish based soccerballists insist on having these ridiculous nicknames?
-
Ahh of course! Would you say that signing him would be a real statement of intent?
-
who are 10th in Serie A. A poorer standard league than the Premier, therefore no better than we have.

ahh right okay, i'm glad you cleared it up. Because on this thread here, which was ironically almost exactly a year ago you seemed to think work would already have started by now. We could expect to see it "soon". I take it a year isn't "soon" even though you go onto state work might have started in 2013, you know, this year. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?37346-St-Mary-s-What-we-might-expect-to-see-happen-(and-possibly-announced-soon) You obviously didn't take into account that it would take 2 years to do investigations and surveys about traffic. It seems to suggest in this statement "So given the planning application length and the length of construction we might see work over 2013 and 2014 perhaps?" that planning persmission should already be in, if not work just about to start or be already in progress. it must be down to the investigations, not down to the chairman wanting to see what attendance we get to ascertain if expansion is nessasary.
-
So are you suggesting Cortese wanted to wait and see what our attendances would be like for a couple of seasons in the premier league before deciding if expansion was nessasary?
-
i have, post 38. They are a smaller club currently playing in a stadium 2/3s the size of SMS and are expanding it gradually, when complete it will still be smaller than SMS. I'm really not sure what point you are trying to make.
-
Swansea are a smaller club than us currently filling a stadium that is 2/3s the size of ours and expanding it by 11000 in stages whereby it will still be smaller than ours. What point are you trying to make?
