The point being we've had a number of people demand pace when signing players, yet none of the current attacking players, and in Ramirez, who is the best player we've had since MLT in his prime have the seering pace which was demand and has made players popular in the past. In an ideal world you'd want pace and technical ability, but i think this thread is proven that an intelligent player with abilty is far far more effective than a spinter without it.

We'd have beaten Fulham if we'd have had a right back. They weren't up too much but Richardson going off injured led to Yoshida playing out of position and this was exploited in the second half. I'm convinced if Clyne had been fit we'd have won and probably fairly comfortably.

We should bring a left back in. Shaw has been excellent but it's not right or fair to Shaw to rely on a 17 year old with a handful of games under his belt. Fox isn't up to it, quite simply. Young players form often goes up and down as they develop and if he gets torn a new one in soem games which he inevitable will do at some point, his confidence could well suffer as well. I'd like to see an experienced left back and centre half brought in.

Jesus Les, i'd hate to go shopping with you. When choosing a loaf of bread do you make sure you know the inside information as to who baked the bread, the exact content of the yeast and flour, how hot the oven was, how long it was left to stand before being sliced and packaged and the distance the lorry travelling in delivering the bread to the shop before you were able to decide if that loaf of bread was going to make decent toast the next morning.

25% of this forum voted at the time that it wouldn't be. If we'd had lost against Swansea or QPR it would have undoubtedly been a lot more. I wasn't one of them by the way.

I dont see why everyone is having a pop at DPS for expressing his opinion a few weeks ago on something. Adkins (or whoever is responsible) was making some strange decsions, didn't seem to know their best line up, playing players out of position and we were thrashed at West Ham. Things are improving now and we look a much better side which has been done by addressing the very things DPS pointed out were wrong.
