Level is onside, yes?
-
Youve got the right frame for it, a good choice.
-
It is FACT. I've done my target already, nice little christmas pay cheque on it way, should clear £1150 this in December.

Les is clearly worried about looking stupid on an anoynmous internet forum, so i expect he has far more pressing personal issues to deal with than lucky or intelligent predictons.

Working from home today. Recycled sales are good for margin BTW, in case you fancy getting involved in the trade, can make up to 20% on a top of the range coloured £24 one.
-
As i've said many times Jamie, i dont give a sh*t if people believe me or not. Im not about to start putting disclaimers on my posts saying which was are true and which ones aren't.

Do the replays show him to be conclusively offside?
-
can i just remind you the game is played with humans not technology and the lineman made the decsion, no one else matters.
-
So you are saying the fact that he made the decision, regardless of if he was right or wrong, means it was the right decision? It appears so.
-
it was the wrong decision. Technology proves this. End of.
-
Hopefully we've got our one totally incompetent referee performance we get every season out of the way in a game where it didn't matter.
-
I did mean the benefit of doubt goes with the attacking team. Err, i'm not quite sure you why you are arguing with me, i said above he made the wrong decision and Rodriguez was onside, but i also said i can see why he was given offside. It was right in front of me in block 3 and i wasn't sure if he was on or off, I can understand why in real time, Rodreiguez was onside when the ball was played, but the centre back stepped forward as soon as the pass was made so JR was in an offside postion from about 1/10th of a second after the pass was made so he might well have appeared offisde when you have less than one second to make the decision. Either way though, it was the wrong decision, which i was quite clear to state earlier. End of.

If you want someone with technical ability and Pace then you are looking at £30m plus. If De Ridder had Lallanas technical abilty and football brain he'd be a superstar.
-
It's his work rate and strength that impress me as well. When Puncheon hit the post he won the ball by battling for it, he rarely gets knocked off the ball and he seemed geniunely delighted to score, seems to be enjoying it here. However, we will get a very big bid for him sooner or later from a top European club so lets enjoy him while we can.

I thought they changed the rules a few years ago and the doubt goes with the attacking team. I can see why the linesman gave it by the way, it was a tight call and Rodriguez was in line when the ball was played but the defender stepped up straight way so Rodriguez was in an offisde positon when the ball was travelling to him. He was onside when it was played though.
-
Nah, the first one was a dive, we said at the time he was lucky not to be booked. The second one he definitely got clipped though.
-
I dont hate him, i just think he's wierd. I've actaully praised him in the last 24 hours so stick that on your keyboard and type it.
-
He was.

I've just frozen it on the telly. He is clearly ONSIDE. There is a grass cut line on the pitch you can use as a guide, the Newcastle player is a shade closer to that line than Rodriguez. If you are in line with the defender you are ONSIDE and if there any doubt the benefit is given to the attacking team. The linesman was wrong. That is the end of it. It's no embarassment being wrong, i wasn't sure when i was in the ground and it was right in front of me in block 3. It's more embarassing to contiune to insist you are right when you clearly aren't.

We've got Mayuka on the bench as well for this. He did very well in this role against Villa and Spurs.
-
I thought it was the other way round. the first one looked a clear dive from my view in block 3, the second one he got clipped, tried to stay on his feet but couldn't. It wasn't much of a contact but enough to make him lose his stride and balance. One of them that it's a definitely pen when its; your team, but a terrible decison when it's the opposition!

:lol: Just admit you were wrong FFS!!

This is spot on. Lambert and Lallana have this in bundles and have the ability to pull it off. It's arguable that Ramirez is a level higher than that and Puncheon seems to be benefiting from playing with talented players. The old fashioned English style of two quick wingers running at the fall backs and the ball being played into the big man with a small quick bloke to pick up his flicks is so dated now, it's all about movement and ability, the way we've created openings time after time with good control and touch or flicks and the front 4 being on the same wavelength. It's all very well being able to run fast but if you are on a different level to your team mates on an intelligence level and running up dead ends all the timethen it's pointless.

There is something in that.
