After 8 games, what are your thoughts...

Fair enough, glad you managed to control yourself when replying unlike our friend above. -

Why are you getting upset for? I'm asking him a simple question. He said people were taking pleasure in us losing, I asked who these people were. If you can't control your temper when people ask perfectly reasonable questions, on an internet forum, which by the way is what a forum is for, then maybe its you who should take a day off. I'm very happy BTW, unlike you, my angry little chum. -

Now we are winning games and have recorded superb back to back wins, I agree we are playing better. -

I thought Results don't matter, its shots at goal that do. -
Has pochettino brought something differerent to the table? (Hah!)

You'd hope so. We are lacking a really dominant centre half IMO. Someone that can command the defensive line and clean out those sort of balls. cisses goal for Newcastle was a classic example, it was a fantastic strike but watch Hooliveld. He's marking Cisse, then moves off him and loses him, he didn't challenge for the long ball either and got caught in no mans land leaving Shaw to have to challenge for a ball that the centre half should be winning and it dropped to the unmarked Cisse. A good centre half takes ownership of that and attacks the long ball. People blamed the ref for that goal and that is partly true but Hooliveld simply didn't do his job. -

It's more about pace on the counter attack than hoof ball. As Newcastle and QPR showed we can be undone by long diagonal balls in between the centre halves and full backs but its only any good if they are going to players with pace and ability, which Cisse and Remy do. A long hopeful ball forward to the big man isn't going to work but getting it forward quickly can do, we just have to hope our centre halves and full backs do their job, which they didn't against Newcastle and QPR. -
Who has said everyone is rubbish and a waste of money? I can save you time. No one.

It would help if you didn't constantly make up things people are supposed to have said, you do it all time.

You don't half talk some nonsense. I thought you arrogantly claimed a few weeks ago that your posts were worth reading?

I think you'll find we signed Mark Hughes from Chelsea. I was sure you'd know that, but good researching anyway.

Not in the squad again today. Something must be seriously amiss here. Can't even get into the u21s. Clearly no misenterpretation of what people are saying.

I've just ordered a Matt Le Tissier one with "nothing more than a paid employee" written underneath.

Speaking from personal experience, I don't have a degree myself, at the time when I left sixth form I just wanted to earn money. On reflection this was a mistake. Although I've done well in my career despite several knock backs along the way and worked hard I could have got to where I am and higher a lot quicker by having a degree. The two best companies in my industry who are ultimately the next step career wise for me take on a lot of grads and there are people 5 or 6 years younger, who arent ad good doing my job for a lot more money. Ultimately in my job having a degree is irrelevant and I'll end up working for them sooner or later but I could have got there much quicker if I'd had a longer term view at 18. I don't have a lot of time for many of the graduate trainees at my company, arrogant, lazy and think their degree is their gold ticket to a great career. However a good education, a good work ethic and a bit of humility and be willing to learn when you get into the workplace and you can achieve anything you want too.

It's a serious and important job FFS.

Do you think it's unreasonable to think we would lose against a team in 3rd whose away record is better than our home record?

She really isnt that great.

He didn't rate him because he's French. Are you going to answer my question on the 'Missing Lee' thread?

* calls off google search for season ticket DVD photos *

He's also a delicate little flower and easily upset, taking lots of things very personally. I think the forum management need to put him on a performance improvement plan.

Who finds the word 'mongboard' offensive? If every single poster on here does then i'll stop saying it, but if not everyone does then I have evidence Jimmy D is wrong.

They all do, every one of them.

Like that FACT that I mentioned that e didn't make the last first team squad and isn't in the u21s tonight, you mean?
-
Who said they did? He didn't make the last matchday squad for the first team. We can only assume he is in this week.
