It's understandable if not right when things are going badly but we've also had this in the last 3 season which have been a nonstop success story. Gulys problem is for whatever reason fansade up their mind he was rubbish after about 2 games and even in his hot spell at the start of last season fans were still on his back. I don't deny he hasn't played well recently but he's been an important player in two successive promotions. I find it astonishing that some fans are saying Chaplow is the answer to all our problems for example when in reality in two seasons hes had a spell of about 2 months where he was any good yet continue to get on Gulys back.

Saints fans have always loved a whipping boy. At the moment it's Guly and Fox, no matter what they do people still slag them off and last week we had the 'anyone but Fox' brigade. We actually said during the Swansea game when Ramirez was appluaded and cries of "unlucky" when he gave the ball away fairly cheaply that the crowd would be in meltdown if Guly had done exactly the same thing. A lot of our fans last season claimed Harding was better, presumably because he ran around a lot and showed passion by screaming at the ball boy, the hero worship given to De Ridder before after yet another woeful display, again because he is quick and runs around a lot. A lot of our fans seem to confuse ability with effort.

I can conform Krackers is now a made up guy in my Krew.
