I'm sure Bent would love to work with Redknapp again after their successful spell at Tottenham where he was a father figure to him.

Yep, I work in Reading and up until March last season I genuinely knew of only 2 Reading fans. As soon as March arrived there were dozens of the f*ckers, all trying to engage in "banter" with me. A lot of them support two clubs as well, a big one, mainly Liverpool or Chelsea and claim to also support Reading. A lot of them are now whinging they want the manager out and won't go again until they start playing better.

Redknapp was at it again yesterday saying that QPR need to sign players but if they are too far adrift then he'll tell the owners not to waste their money as there'll be no point bringing anyone in.

I agree but it's not going to happen anytime soon. Proper fans are being replaced by day trippers and you've only got to read this forum to see how obsesssed some seem to be with marketing information, merchandise, the matchday experience, half time entertainment and attracting new fans from our huge yet untapped catchment area and all the other things that go hand in hand with modern day soccerball.

What amuses me is all the helmets that week after week whinge on their facebook statues about how sh*te/fixed X Factor is, yet still watch it. Luckily i dont have to watch any of that sh*te, although she does like soaps and cooking programmes. I dont mind a bit of Take Me Out, it's a great leveller, it makes me realise what an incredible male i am and also no matter how much your bird p*sses you off, at least she's not as bad as the women on there.

I know there are a lot of games to be played after that, but we have the teams directly above us and below us at home, both out of form and low on confidence and struggling badly. We should win both. If we dont, we cant be confident of winning any other game this season.

Which isn't our strength defensively. We owe them and i'll think we'll win, if we dont beat them and Sunderland i'd be surprised if we stay up.

IF we dont beat Reading and SUnderland then we will go down. I know those two games aren't the be all and end all but we face two struggling teams who are out of form at home. We should win them both, there are no excuses and if we arent good enough to beat these two in their current state at home then we wont stay up.

Who was that against? And aren't they 8th or something, the same place they were when they'd only played crap teams and were going to drop as soon as they played anyone decent.
