You're stood there, the 4 little mongs start attacking your new mate again, what would you do?
-
Very noble. What would you have done if they'd kicked off?
-
i had some bloke giving me the "see you outside" and "i'm going to snap you in half" hand gestures. I just stared at him, he carried on for about a minute and i just kept on staring and mouthed "c*nt" once. You could see his ahole viasbly twitching and he turned round and started talking to him mates. Suffice to say, he wasn't anywhere to be seen outside.

and an Everton song and a Millwall song and Saints song.

Adyn boothroyd got Watford promoted. He wasn't the new Alex Ferguson either.
-
Roy Keane got Sunderland promoted. If anyone was the new Alex Ferguson it was him, right? How did that work out?
-
Dave Jones got Wolves promoted. He wasn't the new Alex Ferguson either.

Middlesbourgh fans were calling for Bryan Robsons head after he for them promoted. He wasn't the new Alex Ferguson. There's one historical example where it didn't work out.

Exactly. People would charge a fortune for that advice. 3 simple steps for fighting off multiple attackers 1 keep moving, don't be a stationary target 2 take out the most aggressive one with attacks to eyes, groin and throat. 3 or 4 vicious blows to these areas and move on 3 keep on the outside, if you get in the middle it's game over. Be water my friends.

It's a perfectly valid question. Mikey saw the first incident and did nothing by the sounds of it. I was wondering what he was hanging back for and what he'd have done if they did attack the guy again.

Tell us what you'd have done mikey. Shoke your wrist bands at them? Bored them into submission by talking about politics? Challenged them to an eating contest?
-
Exactly. Never the cleverest tactic, you become a stationary target, you need to keep moving, don't get stuck in the middle of them, in any group of 3 or 4 there will always be one or two that are gamer and one or two lacking the bottle who will hold back and move in when things are on top so be more aggresive to the aggressors. it's important to make sure that offensive strike aim at vulnerable areas, groin, eyes, throat, 3-4 attack in these areas then move away and scan for any further assailants. Once a couple have taken a beating the other ones won't fancy it much. And of course the obvious tactic of fighting at range, kicks from a distance and punches, elbows close up. My personal favourite distance move is a stomp kick to the groin, a forearm/elbiw smash to the side of head then grabbing them by the shirt, turning them as a human shield against anyone else fancying a go and driving a couple of knee shots into the boll*cks. If you're reading this I hope you make a swift recovery amd these tips help you for future incidents and recognise where you went wrong on this occasion.

He was gobbing off and some bloke gave him a clump. He came on here that evening whinging about it and a couple of people who saw it said he had been asking for it and got what he deserved.

Benitez didn't sign Downing.

People are saying we will be stronger for it and it doesn't matter if we get relegated because we are two years ahead of schedule. Which is a load of nonsense.
-
Not seen him on here for ages.
-
I don't understand why people think relegation will be a good thing. If we go down Lallana and Ramirez will go, the big clubs will be sniffing round JWP, Shaw and co who can use the old 'I want to play in the premier league' card. The tv money will also be going up in the summer so the clubs that don't go down and come up will be stronger still. Mind you we are two years ahead of schedule so if we get relegated this year it doesn't matter does it.

It was probably saintscottofthenortham getting ironed out again.

Our offensive soccerballism Is delightful at times. I feel Nige is close to getting the balance right. But the simple fact is the defenders. I'm liking Yoshida, I think Boruc will come good, he is the experienced glovesman we were looking for. For me Clyne doesn't look ready yet. A class centre half and left back are a must in January. We were poor in the first half but very good in the second and the reality is Spurs, for all their attacking threat and pace never really threatend in the second period of play.
-
Even the Spurs fans joined in, which annoyed me as I wanted to sing 'no respect my lord' at them.

He also said something about Rocky Balboa as well Apparantly.
