  1. Yep, I agree. Until his injury in our L1 promotion season he was arguably our best forward at the time. Good finisher and a good attitude. He'll make a decent Championship striker.

Griffo is a well dressed young un who talks sense. I would happily be seen speaking to him. With the added bonus for him that He can learn more from me.
  3. yeah i still wear an L&S Harrington and some of the knits are okay, would just avoid the rest of it now as see too many people in it.
  4. You're the master at that aren't you.
  5. 5 years ago that was decent. These days its everywhere and worn by some right helmets.
  6. Shut up you wierdo and go and answer my question on the £14m thread.
  7. Sorry, was slipping back into the Dell sized mentality i've been working so hard to shake off. YES GO GET HIM NICOLA!!!!!
  8. Apparantly Shalke and Liverpool want him as well. Would be amazing but unlikely.
  9. I dont disagree with that Adrian. Bale tore Maicon a new one last season, one of the worlds bet right backs. If the top players turn up then few can live with them. Are Richardson and Fox good enough to stop the likes of Surman, Etherington, Pilkington, Sinclair and Dyer? Probably and that is going to be more important.
  10. That simply isnt true is it. If it was the case why didnt Avram Grant drop him and replace him? Why was he still making the England squad? Why was he still deemed good enough for Stoke, a midtable side to sign him?

im moving there you lucky, lucky boy. You'll get to see me every week.
  14. I would hope so, The Krackers. As it would be interesting to see what criteria he applies to esablish which is the bigger club out of Manchester United and Darlington and if that same yardstick could be applied to comapring the sizes of other clubs. Or if indeed it is impossible to say without a clear definition of what constitues "bigger" or if there is any information that we are missing that the rest of the world knows about which would make an impossible task to say who is the bigger club out of Manchester United and Darlington.
  15. Well alot of our experts on here think he was terrible, im sure they watched him every week. I dont think you can read too much into that as i dont think any West Ham player did much what with Avram Grant working his relegation magic on the team. He still played well enough for a midtable top flight club to want him last summer though. He is 33 and it was only 2 years ago he was playing in the world cup. You dont become a bad player overnight. He'll bring a lot of experience to the side and will also be good for our young players to work with.
  16. Decent signing on a short term one or two year deal. Will add some much needed experience and leadership to the side.
  17. In the 2010 version he is class and if you dont sell him when Arsenal come in with a £5m bid he puts in a transfer request to move to a bigger club. I didn't sell him though as it was impossible to say which was a bigger club on FM10 as he didn't clearly define it and even if he had neither of us was aware of some important information about what makes a club bigger on that years edition and what doesn't.
  18. SO which club would you say was "bigger" Manchester United or Darlington? And lets makes it easy for you an make the answers multiple choice a/ Manchester United b/ Darlington C/ Impossible to tell unless people define what contitutes "bigger" and even if they do you might not be aware of some significant information.
  19. How about you define it.
  20. You've taken what I said out of context.
  21. No they weren't. They sold 37,000 tickets for a game against Tottenham. We sold 28,000 for a game against Man U in the same season in the same competiton. He was trying to justify why we didn't sell out against Man U last time we played them when it wasnt a problem for Leeds when they were playing premier league opposition in the same competition, in the same season with Ith games live on telly.
  22. The standard MLG get out phrase.
  23. I particularly enjoyed MLGs logic that we can speculate on what Saints attendances in 2016 might be based on What Chelsea's were in 1984, Sunderlands in 1997, Readings in 1976. Yet when in came to comparing League one Leeds attendance at a home FA cup tie against premier league oposition live on terrestrial TV with league one saints playing premier league opposition in the FA cup live on terrestrial television that wasn't a reasonable comparison.
  24. Woodhouse sale started today. Picked up a jacket I'd tried on last weekend for 150 sheets less. Sweet.
