thought it would be a good idea to have a thead where we can all give credit to our fantastic chairman for all the great stuff he's done for this club. First and foremost for saving us but also for turning us into a proffesional outfit from top to bottom and transforming this club. All credit to the chairman, we are looking good for at least our highest placed finish in the league since 2005 and are playing great football with a good man in charge and a team that relate to the fans. Fans skip to games with smiles on their faces and the club has changed beyond recognition since 2009 when he arrived. We've managed to recruit the corporate sponsorship manager from Man City. And it doesn't just stop there, we have plenty to look forward to. THe new training ground looks amazing and i for one cant wait for next season and to take advantage of the new barcode scanners. Please feel free to join in giving credit to our wonderful chairman. Mods any chance of making this a sticky??

I quite agree. We have a premium product so should pay premium prices. Keep the prices high enough to keep away the poor people. We're half way there already as no buses go near Staplewood very often. I'm glad we have a chairman like Cortese who has these sort of standards.

We were magnifcent, a joy to watch at times and surely showed the academy of football how to play the beautiful game!! The possesion we had was incredbile, it's a long time since i've seen a top of the table team be dominated like that. If that was a boxing match we would have won easily on points. The stats dont bear it out on the BBC but i'm sure we had about 70% of the possession tonight. It just shows what a fantastic job the chairman is doing and all credit to him, he came up with the concept of the Southampton style a while back and it seems to being brought to bear now, i think his vision and drive is really key in us to be able to go to places like Upton Park and totally dominate posession. With better finishing and if we hadn't given away that cheap penalty we could easily have come away with a 5-0 win on another day. Great stuff Saints. COYR!!!
