I am also now applauding the club for encouraging our stay away fans to attend what is a massive game for us.

I keep hearing about our great support and we've got so much potential and that we will need a bigger stadium in the premier league, yet we cant even get 75% of our current capacity when we are having our best season in years with, what some on here have described as our greatest ever team. It doesn't all stack up somehow.

There was when we sold out aganst West Ham, Brighton, Crystal Palace as well and we have averaged over 25k for most of the season.

No surprise really as recent attendances have been disapointment, only 21k against Leicester with only 20,000 Saints fans bothering to turn up. Only 24,000 including just shy of 2k Cardiff fans for a 2nd v 3rd clash was very disapointing. There wasnt even the excuse that this one was on the telly. We can go back top tomorrow and with a decent Derby following likely anything less than 25k is a major disapointment. thought it would be a good idea to have a thead where we can all give credit to our fantastic chairman for all the great stuff he's done for this club. First and foremost for saving us but also for turning us into a proffesional outfit from top to bottom and transforming this club. All credit to the chairman, we are looking good for at least our highest placed finish in the league since 2005 and are playing great football with a good man in charge and a team that relate to the fans. Fans skip to games with smiles on their faces and the club has changed beyond recognition since 2009 when he arrived. We've managed to recruit the corporate sponsorship manager from Man City. And it doesn't just stop there, we have plenty to look forward to. THe new training ground looks amazing and i for one cant wait for next season and to take advantage of the new barcode scanners. Please feel free to join in giving credit to our wonderful chairman. Mods any chance of making this a sticky??

I quite agree. We have a premium product so should pay premium prices. Keep the prices high enough to keep away the poor people. We're half way there already as no buses go near Staplewood very often. I'm glad we have a chairman like Cortese who has these sort of standards.
