dont forget to greet everyone with "wagwan rude boy" when you agree with something it's "safe cuz" when you dont agree threaten to "bust open you're blud clut" Also refer to everyone as "fam" and everyting will be sweet blud.
  2. Good taste in curries too. I often see him getting a take away in the Corriander Lounge in town.
  3. But can he play in the premier league and champions league, how was his record at international level, lest we forget vassell wasn't deemed good enough for us because Of his goal scoring record for England. We only want to be looking at players who can get us into the Champions league, where we belong
  4. Has anyone ever told you that you look abit like the singer in elbow?

I am like you the stain, I really care about what people on an Internet forum think of me.
  6. I really couldn't give a toss I'm not a great fan of either but it not a fact, it' an opinion.
  7. In you opinion mikey, in your opinion.
  8. Just how I remember it that's all, I recall most of the nirvana fans BITD as being nerdy types.
  9. They were okay but tended to be very popular with nerdy studenty types. Foo's are much better IMO
  10. Marsden and crouch, not because of the Pompey thing with crouch, I just didn't rate him a the time. I did by the time he left though.
  11. It's interesting Mikey because when i was about that age the Stone Roses debut album came out, which is widely regard as one of the best and most ground breaking debut albums of all time. I was into a right mix of stuff at the time, rave, dance, dare i say it a bit of Jungle. from memory music as a whole was pretty dire back then, there was an awful lot of crap about at that time with the whole manfuacturered boy band type thing just about to explode with NKOTB about and Take That about to emerge. However the release of that album directly lead to me and a lot of the lads in my school getting into the whole early indie thing with the Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets etc and also listening to other british bands from the past like The Smiths, the Jam, The Clash, Kinks, Sex Pistols etc who i had dismissed as old mans sh*t that my older brothers were into. It changed the way we dressed, the way we acted. I remember seeing the Stone Roses on the telly (think it might have been the Word) and thinking how cool Ian Brown was. It has also been hailed as a big influence behind the Brit Pop mid 90's and Noel Gallagher has said if it werent for the Stone Roses there would have been no Oasis. I would say that was a breath of fresh air but you dont realise it until years later when you realise just how much it influenced not just you but pretty much everyone you grew up with. Not like some, admittedly very good band, doing something a little bit different.
  12. My parents had exactly the same thing about 6 years ago. Unfortunately they got no refund as it was their fault, cant remember all the ins and outs of what happened but after about 3 months of trying my parents just accepted that unfortunately it was their cock up and they were out of pocket. There was nothing wrong with the product and it was their responsibility to make sure that it was deliverable. Expensive lesson learned unfortunately as they were out of pocket to the tune of nearly £2k.
  13. according to one of the sunday wrags, cant remember which, Wenger has been told he has to win a trophy this season or it's Au reviour. As well as Downing, who IMO is massively overrated, he is also after Cahilll from Bolton and a left back, think he has higher priorites this summer than Chamberlain, hopefully.

Just ask him if he's ever been in the audience of Question Time, that will give you immediate qudos and put them on the backfoot, bowing to your superior worldy wisdom and insight.
  15. You are forgetting that this is the forum which said Lambert should play for England and was better than Fernando Torres only 12 months ago.
  16. And look a bit closer to home, our very own MLT was head and shoulders above the players around him and scored 20 odd goals a season from midfield whilst playing alongside footballing greats like David Lee and Craig Maskell. His contribution was slightly more than "the odd individual action negated by the insufficences of others" On another note, why do people assume players will thrive and get more time on the ball in the league above the one we have just played in? Defenders at this level are better. Better tacklers, better headers, better markers, quicker etc, thats why they are playing a better standard of football. Quite why people are assuming all our attackers are going to find it so much easier next season is beyond me.

never mind what you say, just make sure you are wearing some fetching wrist bands.
  18. Because i am interested to know how someone at the age of 14, can have such an indepth appreciation of music c2004/05 when they would have been 12 & 13 to describe a fine debut album in early 06 as a "breath of fresh air". What were you into around that time? Just out of interest like.
  19. I agree Mickey honey, but whilst their first album was great, the rest whilst not being as good had some great songs on them. Just a question on their first album was superb, however, you must have been about 12 or 13 when it came out, 2005 iirc, for you it was a breath of fresh air from what?
  20. Saint j 77, i can see that you dont use this place much, not may posts in 5 years, so word of advise, always remember that this place is serious business. There is no room for light heartedness on here. Stick to this and you'll be a forum superstar in no time at all.
  21. Yeah, silly thing to do when when you've just agreed a £10k a week contract. Hey ho, his loss.
  22. I heard he had signed but stormed back into Cortese office and ripped up the contract after discovering he was charged £1 to park when he came to SMS to complete the deal.
  23. A ginger? FFs that's all we need. What with the sales manager quitting, car parking charges and slow replies to emails we are now signing a f*cking ginger. Whatever next FFs.
  24. I take it a lot on here aren't AM fans then, that comes as no surprise. When i say mainstream about Coldplay i meant bland, dull, middle class dinner party music. One to many vino biancos last night.
  25. The song is easy. We adapt the Orange men song "the sash my father wore" this is appropriate as the orginal SFC and reason for our struggle wore a sash. I've written a few lyrics. Sure i am a S'ITTER man From Southampton i came To see my Southampton brethren of honour and of fame And to tell them of my forefathers Who fought in days of yore, That I might have the right to wear, The sash my father wore! It is old, but it is beautiful, And its colors they are fine It was worn in all over Southamptonshire this famous sash is mine My father wore it as a youth In bygone days of yore And everyday I love to wear The sash my father wore. I'd also like to see a statue, the same as the the one of Christ the Reedemer which over looks Rio placed on the corner of Ventor in Southamptonshire with Cortese face on it, arms outstreached, overlooking and embracing the whole of SOuthamptonshire. When people fly over or sail into our region they will know they are entering a special but dangerous place. Imagine how good this would look if it was ours overlooking Southamptonshire, p*sses all over the tower in Skatesmouth.
