Not a single laughing reaction to your “joke” even less responses than your pitiful sub 1% response to your post on X.

Oh it was a joke, best ones are always when you have to explain them

How can it “kinda” be a preseason friendly when it’s a league game in the current season and the team will be different next season.

Hopefully our fans gave the lads a good clap at the end for their efforts

The fact that since Leicester scored their last league goal at home, Southampton have sacked a manager, appointed an interim, appointed a permanent replacement, sacked the permanent replacement and re-appointed the interim from earlier. we all know what happens here then

and why was he brilliant? Did the simple stuff well. A good goalkeeper, two good centre backs, got the players fitter than we've been apart from possibly under Pochetino, made us hard to beat and we had a two strikers who could score goals, Beattie and Phillips. Phillips was a big signing for us in the those days and although didn't score a bucket load he was a very good player and think he got 12-15 both seasons he was here. Beattie was big, strong, powerful, not techinically great so the hipsters wouldn't him these days but a handful. No messing around with philosophies and trying to be clever, make us hard to beat and bring in a bit of quality and guess what? It worked.

i was being facetious, but Lib dems seems to be very strange where they have a lot of voters but no one knows anyone who is one. Apart from SOGs mate of course.

does anyone vote for them?

I think back and wonder if the Livramento signing was the catalyst behind the disaster of the 2022 windows. Having signed him and put him straight in the first team where he settled straight away did the club think they had struck gold and that everyone would do the same? I know common sense tells you that is not going to be the case but since when has common sense ever been a factor as this club when we constantly try and reinvent the way football clubs are run?

It’s a warm day and the water bottles are out! Loads of people walking sipping water from expensive bottles with build in straws. How did we survive 40 years ago without them, people must have been dying on every street corner from dehydration
